디도서 1:15-16

깨끗한 자들에게는 모든 것이 깨끗하나 더럽고 믿지 아니하는 자들에게는 아무 것도 깨끗한 것이 없고 오직 저희 마음과 양심이 더러운지라 저희가 하나님을 시인하나 행위로는 부인하니 가증한 자요 복종치 아니하는 자요 모든 선한 일을 버리는 자니라

Titus 1:15-16

To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

예수를 믿고, 예수님의 말씀에 순종하며 예수의 피로 죄를 씻는 자에게는 모든 것이 깨끗하다, 그러나 불순종하고 회개치 않는 자의 양심이 더럽다, 그가 행하는 모든 말과 행위와 일들은 더러운 것이다. 많은 교인들은 입으로 예수를 구원자로 시인한다, 그러나 그들의 행위는 예수를 부인하는 것이다. 우리 마음이 예수님의 말씀을 시인히고그 말씀에 순종할 때 믿음이 있는 것이다.

지금 교회 안에 형식적으로 교회 다니고, 말씀에 불순종하고, 죄를 회개하지 않는 교인들이 대부분이다. 선한 일을 버리는 것은 주님 앞에 가증한 일이다.

주님의 뜻을 거역하는 것은 예수를 믿지 않는 것이고, 결국 천국에 가지 못하는 거짓 믿음이다.

디도서 1:7-9

감독은 하나님의 청지기로서 책망할 것이 없고 제 고집대로 하지 아니하며 급히 분내지 아니하며 술을 즐기지 아니하며 구타하지 아니하며 더러운 이를 탐하지 아니하며 오직 나그네를 대접하며 선을 좋아하며 근신하며 의로우며 거룩하며 절제하며 미쁜 말씀의 가르침을 그대로 지켜야 하리니 이는 능히 바른 교훈으로 권면하고 거스려 말하는 자들을 책망하게 하려 함이라

교회 감독자는 교회의 직분을 맡은 자들이다. 교회 직분자는 하나님의 말씀을 믿고 그대로 지켜야 한다.감독자가 갖춰야 할 덕목이 있다, 쉽게 분내지 말라, 술취하지 말라, 남을 구타하지 말라, 더러운 이익을 탐하지 말라. 나그네 대접하기를 즐려라, 선한 일을 좋아하라, 부지런 하라, 의롭고 거룩하라, 육신의 욕구를 절제해야 한다, 감독자 자신이 주님의 말씀에 먼저 순종할 때 그가 교인들을 바르게 인도할 수 있는 것이다.

디도서 1:10-11

복종치 아니하고 헛된 말을 하며 속이는 자가 많은 중 특별히 할례당 가운데 심하니 저희의 입을 막을 것이라 이런 자들이 더러운 이를 취하려고 마땅치 아니한 것을 가르쳐 집들을 온통 엎드러치는도다

초대 교회 시절에 할례당이 있었고, 그 조직에 속한 교회 지도들이 주님의 말씀에 불순종하며 헛되고 거짓된 교훈을 백성에게 가르쳤다. 할례당에 속한 자들은 교회의 중직을 맡은 자들이었는데, 그들은 오늘날 목사와 장로들 같은 자들이다, 그러나 그들은 더러운 이익을 얻기 위해 성경에 맞지 않는 교리를 교인들에게 가르친 것이다. 그래서 백성의 믿음이 무너지고, 교회가 무너지고 가정이 무너지는 것이다.

교회 지도자들은 교인들에게 먼저 순종하는 본을 보여야만 한다, 그래서 교인들이 지도자들의 선한 삶을 본 받아야 된다. 지도자의 양심이 더럽고 회개치 않으면 그의 교인들은 자연적으로 더러운 삶을 본받는다.

디도서 1:13-14

이 증거가 참되도다 그러므로 네가 저희를 엄히 꾸짖으라 이는 저희로 하여금 믿음을 온전케 하고 유대인의 허탄한 이야기와 진리를 배반하는 사람들의 명령을 좇지 않게 하려 함이라

감독자는 주님의 대신하여 순종하지 않는 교인들의 죄를 엄히 꾸짖어 회개하고 순종하게 해야 된다.자기의 믿음을 온전케 하라. 진리를 배반하는 허탄한 말을 버려라. 하나님의 말씀을 배반하는 것이 인간의 교리다. 왜 많은 교인들이 성경 진리에 맞지 않는 인간의 교리를 따라가는가? 하나님의 말씀은 죄를 회개하고 순종하는 자가 천국에 간다고 항상 말씀하신다. 인간의 교리는 죄를 회개하지 않아도 교회만 다니면 천국에 간다고 말한다.하나님의 명령보다 인간의 교리가 더 편하고 쉽기 때문에 많은 교인들이 인간 교리를 더 좋아하는 것이다. 그러나 순종과 불순종의 삶이 천국과 지옥으로 나누는 기준이 된다.

For those who believe in Jesus, obey the words of Jesus, and wash away their sins with the blood of Jesus, everything is clean.However, the conscience of the disobedient and unrepentant person is unclean, and all his words, actions, and deeds are unclean.Many church members confess with their mouths that Jesus is their savior, but their actions deny Jesus.We have faith when our hearts acknowledge the words of Jesus and obey them.

Currently, most church members attend church in a formal manner, disobey the Word, and do not repent of their sins.Forsaking good works is an abomination before the Lord.Disobeying the will of the Lord is not believing in Jesus, and is a false belief that ultimately prevents one from going to heaven.

Titus 1:7-9

Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless--not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain.Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

Church overseers are people who hold positions in the church. Church officials must believe in the word of God and keep it.There are virtues that a supervisor must possess: do not get angry easily, do not get drunk, do not beat others, and do not be greedy for dirty gain. Enjoy hosting strangers, love doing good things, be diligent, be righteous and holy, control your fleshly desires,When the overseer himself first obeys the word of the Lord, he can lead the church members correctly.

Titus 1:10-11

For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group.They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach--and that for the sake of dishonest gain.

During the early church days, there was a circumcision group, and church leaders belonging to that organization disobeyed the words of the Lord and taught the people vain and false lessons.Those who belonged to the Circumcision Party were those who held high positions in the church. They are like pastors and elders today. However, they taught church members doctrines that did not fit the Bible in order to gain dirty profits. That is why the people's faith collapses, churches collapse, and families collapse.

Church leaders must first set an example of obedience to their members, so Church members must imitate the good lives of their leaders. If a leader's conscience is unclean and he does not repent, his church members will naturally imitate the unclean life.

Titus 1:13-14

This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth.

On behalf of the Lord, the overseer must severely rebuke the sins of disobedient church members so that they repent and obey.Make your faith perfect. Throw away empty words that betray the truth. It is human doctrine that betrays the word of God.Why do so many church members follow human doctrines that do not fit Biblical truth? God's Word always says that those who repent of their sins and obey will go to heaven.

Human doctrine says that even if you do not repent of your sins, you will go to heaven as long as you go to church.Many church members prefer human doctrines because they are more convenient and easier than God's commands. However, a life of obedience and disobedience becomes the standard for dividing heaven and hell. The measure of faith is one's life.
