에베소서 5:1–7

그러므로 사랑을 입은 자녀 같이 너희는 하나님을 본받는 자가 되고 그리스도께서 너희를 사랑하신 것 같이 너희도 사랑 가운데서 행하라 그는 우리를 위하여 자신을 버리사 향기로운 제물과 생축으로 하나님께 드리셨느니라 음행과 온갖 더러운 것과 탐욕은 너희 중에서 그 이름이라도 부르지 말라 이는 성도의 마땅한 바니라

누추함과 어리석은 말이나 희롱의 말이 마땅치 아니하니 돌이켜 감사하는 말을 하라 너희도 이것을 정녕히 알거니와 음행하는 자나 더러운 자나 탐하는 자 곧 우상 숭배자는 다 그리스도와 하나님 나라에서 기업을 얻지 못하리니 누구든지 헛된 말로 너희를 속이지 못하게 하라 이를 인하여 하나님의 진노가 불순종의 아들들에게 임하나니 그러므로 저희와 함께 참예하는 자 되지 말라.

하나님께서는 인간들을 너무나 사랑하셔서 인간들의 죄를 대신하여 십자가에 못 박혀 죽으셨습니다. 죄 사함을 받은 자들은 예수 그리스도의 사랑을 배우고 그 사랑을 실천해야 합니다.

음행과 온갖 더러운 것과 탐욕을 버리고, 그러한 것들은 그 이름조차 입에 올리지 않는 것이 성도들의 마땅한 도리입니다.

누추하고 어리석은 말과 희롱하는 말을 버리고, 오직 주님께 감사하는 말을 해야 합니다.

분명히 알아야 합니다. 음행하는 자나 더러운 자나 탐욕을 품은 자나 우상을 숭배하는 자는 결코 하나님의 나라에 들어가지 못합니다.

입술로 예수님을 구원주로 고백하고 교회에 다녔을지라도, 세상의 방식대로 살면서 자기 죄를 회개하지 않는 자는 결코 천국에 들어가지 못하는 것입니다.

헛된 말에 속지 마십시오. 하나님의 말씀을 대적하는 인간의 교리가 바로 헛된 말입니다.

한 번 예수님을 믿었으면 어떻게 살아도 절대로 지옥에 가지 않는다는 가르침은 헛된 말입니다.

인간이 만들어 낸 교리로 하나님의 말씀을 대적하는 것은 하나님의 나라와 의를 훼방하는 것이며, 성령의 인도하심을 따르지 않는 것입니다.

예수님을 믿는 것처럼 보이지만, 실제로는 주님의 말씀에 불순종하고 자기 죄를 회개하지 않는 자들이 교회 안에 너무나 많습니다.

하나님의 진노는 이러한 불순종의 자들에게 임하는 것입니다.

그러므로 주님의 작은 징계가 임할 때에도 신속히 자기 죄를 깨닫고 회개하여 주님의 뜻으로 돌이켜야 합니다.

천국에 들어가기를 원하는 자들은 하나님의 말씀을 대적하는 자들에게서 돌아서야 합니다.

하나님의 말씀을 인간의 생각대로 해석하고, 성경 말씀보다 인간의 교리를 앞세우는 자들에게서 돌아서십시오.

하나님의 말씀을 대적하는 인간의 교리를 받아들이는 것은 성경 말씀을 버리는 것입니다.

성경 말씀을 버리는 것은 곧 천국으로 가는 길을 버리는 것입니다.

Ephesians 5:1–7

Therefore, follow God’s example, as dearly loved children, and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.

Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

Therefore do not be partners with them.

God loved humanity so deeply that He died on the cross to bear the sins of mankind.

Those who have received forgiveness of their sins must learn the love of Jesus Christ and put that love into practice.

It is the duty of God's holy people to turn away from sexual immorality, every kind of impurity, and greed, and not even to mention such things among themselves.

We must put away obscene and foolish talk and coarse joking, and instead speak words of thanksgiving to the Lord.

We must clearly understand this: Those who practice sexual immorality, live in impurity, are greedy, or worship idols will never enter the kingdom of God.

Even if people confess Jesus as their Savior and attend church, they will never enter heaven if they continue to live according to the ways of the world without repenting of their sins.

Do not be deceived by empty words. Human doctrines that oppose the Word of God are empty words.

The teaching that once a person believes in Jesus, they can never go to hell, no matter how they live, is an empty teaching.

To oppose the Word of God with doctrines made by human beings is to hinder the kingdom and righteousness of God and to refuse to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

There are far too many people in churches who appear to believe in Jesus but actually disobey the Lord's Word and refuse to repent of their sins.

God's wrath comes upon those who live in such disobedience.

Therefore, even when the Lord brings a small measure of discipline upon us, we must quickly recognize our sins, repent, and turn back to His will.

Those who desire to enter heaven must turn away from those who oppose the Word of God.

Turn away from those who interpret the Word of God according to human thinking and place human doctrines above the teachings of Scripture.

To accept human doctrines that oppose the Word of God is to abandon the teachings of Scripture.

To abandon the Word of God is to abandon the way to heaven.
