     (Rachel gives him a dirty look) Nothing, just, just, I'm fine.

Phoebe: (to Rachel) What's the matter? Why so scrunchy?
        (레이첼에게) 무슨 일 있어? 왜 그렇게 예민해 있는거야?

Rachel: It's my father. He wants to give me a Mercedes convertible.
        아빠 때문에. 나한테 메르세데스 오픈카를 사준다고 하시잖아.

Ross: That guy, he burns me up.
      그 양반, 참 뚜껑 열리는 말씀만 하신다니까.

Rachel: Yeah, well, it's a Mercedes if I move back home.

        Oh, it was horrible. He called me young lady.

(Cut to Ross and Rachel, talking next to one of the tables.)

Ross: So, uh, Rachel, what are you, uh, what're you doing tonight?

      Apparently they're attracted to the dryer sheets,

[Scene: Monica and Rachel's apartment, Joey is there, trying to convince Monica to pose as his girlfriend.
        모니카와 레이첼의 아파트, 조이는 모니카에게 여자친구인 체 해달라고, 설득하고 있다.

        His plan is to hook Monica up with Angela's boyfriend Bob and then take Angela back for himself.]

      If I do this for her brother, maybe Angela will come back to me.

Monica: What's going on here?
        대체 왜 그러는건데?

        You go out with tons of girls.

Joey: (proud) I know, but, I made a huge mistake.
      (자랑으로 여기며) 그건 그렇지, 하지만, 난 큰 실수를 저지른거야.

[Scene: Ross' apartment, Chandler is over.]
        로스의 아파트, 챈들러가 저쪽에 있다.

Ross: (on phone) Ok, bye.
      (전화) 그래, 안녕.

      (hangs up) Well, Monica's not coming, it's just gonna be me and Rachel.
      (끊는다) 모니카는 못 온대, 나랑 레이첼 둘 뿐이야.

Chandler: Oh. Well, hold on camper, are you sure you've thought this thing through?
          오. 그래, 기회를 잘 잡아야 돼, 너 잘 해낼 수 있지?

Ross: It's laundry. The thinking through is minimal.
      그냥 빨래방이야. 그것 뿐이라구.

Chandler: It's just you and Rachel, just the two of you?

          This is a date. You're going on a date.

Ross: Nuh-uh.
      아니야아.

Chandler: Yuh-huh.

Chandler: Well, you may wanna rethink the dirty underwear.

Ross: (sheepish) No.

Chandler: Oh, and uh, the fabric softener?

      What, it says I'm a sensitive, warm kinda guy, you know, like a warm, fuzzy bear.

Chandler: There you go.

[Scene: A fancy restaurant,

        Joey and Monica are there, meeting Angela and Bob, who Monica thinks is Angela's brother.]
        조이와 모니카가 있다, 모니카는 안젤라의 오빠라고 생각하는 밥과 안젤라를 만나기로 했다.

Monica: Thank you.
        고마워요.

        So what does this Bob guy look like? Is he tall? Short?
        그 밥이란 사람은 어떻게 생겼어? 키는 커? 작아?
       
Joey: Yep.
      응.

Monica: Which?
        어느쪽이라는거야?

Joey: Which what?
      어느쪽이라니 뭐가?

Monica: You've never met Bob, have you?
        너 밥을 만나 본 적 없지, 맞지?

Joey: No, but he's...
      그래, 하지만 그는...

Monica: Oh my god, Joey, for all we know this guy could be horribly...
        오 맙소사, 조이, 그 사람 분명히 끔찍하게...

(Angela and Bob walk in. Bob is good-looking.)
(안젤라와 조이가 들어온다. 밥은 아주 근사해보인다.)

Angela: Hey, Joey.
        안녕, 조이.

Monica: ...horribly attractive.

[Scene: Central Perk, Chandler and Phoebe are there, both ready to break up with their significant others.]
        센트럴 퍼크, 챈들러와 피비가 있다, 둘다 애인과 헤어지기 위해 준비한다.

Chandler: Where are they? Where are they?
          왜 안 오지? 왜 안 오지?

Phoebe: This is nice. We never do anything just the two of us.

          Maybe tomorrow we can rent a car and run over some puppies.

(Janice and Phoebe's boyfriend, Tony, walk in.)

Chandler: Here we go.
          시작이다.

Phoebe: Ok, have a good break-up.
        좋아, 잘 깨져야 돼.

Chandler: Hey, Janice.
          안녕, 제니스.

Janice: Oh, my god, I am so glad you called me.
        오, 세상에, 전화해 줘서 너무 고마웠어.

        I had the most supremely awful day.
        오늘 아주 지독한 날이었거든.

Chandler: Hey, that's not good.
          그거 안됐구나.

          Can I get an espresso and a latte over here, please?
          여기 에스프레소랑 라떼 한잔씩 주시겠어요?

Janice: We got the proofs back from that photo shoot, you know,
        우리가 사진 찍은거 현상을 했는데 말야,

        the one with the little vegetables.
        그 작은 식물들 들고 찍은거.

        Anyway, they pretty much sucked,
        어쨌거나, 사진이 안좋게 나와서,

        so, I blew off the rest of the day, and I went shopping...
        하루를 다 날리고, 쇼핑을 갔다가...

       (looks through her bags)... and I got you, I'm looking, I'm looking, I'm looking, I got you...
       (가방안을 찾는다)... 너 줄려고 뭘 샀는데, 어디 보자, 어디 보자, 어디 보자, 너한테 줄게...

(Chandler sees Phoebe breaking up with Tony.
(챈들러는 토니와 헤어지는 피비를 본다.

She talks to him for a few seconds, hugs him, and then he leaves.
피비는 토니와 몇분동안 얘기하다가, 포옹한뒤, 토니가 나간다.

Chandler is amazed how easy it was for her.)
챈들러는 어떻게 그렇게 쉽게 해 낼수 있는지 놀라워한다.)

Chandler: What?
          뭐야?

Janice: What?
        뭐가?

Chandler: (covering) What... did you get me there?
          (카바하며) 뭐야... 나 주려고 산게?

Janice: I got you...these. (pulls out a pair of socks)
        너한테 줄게... 이거야. (양팔 한 켤레을 꺼낸다)

Chandler: Bullwinkle socks. That's so sweet.
          불윙클 양말이구나. 귀여운데.

Janice: Well, I knew you had the Rockys,
        너한테 로키가 있다는 건 알고 있어,

        and so I figured, you know, you can wear Bullwinkle and Bullwinkle,
        그래서 내 생각엔, 불윙클 끼리 신어도 되고,

        or you can wear Rocky and Rocky,or, you can mix and match, moose and squirrel.
        로키끼리 신어도 되고, 서로 섞어서 신어도 되자나, 사슴과 다람쥐로.

        Whatever you want.

Chandler: That's great.
          그거 좋은데.

(The drinks arrive, and Chandler downs his espresso in one gulp.)
(마실것이 오자, 챈들러는 자신의 에스프레소를 꿀꺽꿀꺽 다 비운다.)

Chandler: Well, I'm gonna get another espresso. Can I get you another latte?
          어, 난 에스프레소 한잔 더 마셔야겠다. 너도 라떼 한 잔 더 할래?

Janice: (holding the full cup) No, no, I'm still working on mine.
        (가득찬 컵을 들고) 아니, 아니, 난 아직 다 마시지도 않았는걸.

(Chandler walks over to the counter where Phoebe is, and is asking her about the break-up.)
(챈들러는 카운터에 있는 피비에게로 가서, 헤어지는거에 대해서 물어본다.)

Chandler: That's it?
          그게 다야?

Phoebe: Yeah, it was really hard.
        그래, 정말 힘들었어.

Chandler: Oh, yeah, that hug looked pretty brutal.
          오, 그래, 엄청 난폭하게 끌어 안는것 처럼 보이더라.

Phoebe: Ok, you weren't there.
        좋아, 넌 거기 없었잖아.

[Scene: The Launderama, Rachel is there, waiting for Ross.
        빨래방, 레이첼이 있다, 로스를 기다리고 있는 중이다.

        An old woman takes Rachel's clothes off the machine and begins loading it with her things.]
        한 나이든 여자가 레이첼이 맡아논 기계에서 레이첼의 옷을 치우고 자신의 빨래감을 놓는다.

Woman: Comin' through. Move, move.
       좀 지나갑시다. 비켜요, 비켜.

Rachel: Oh, 'scuse me. I was kinda using that machine.
        오, 죄송해요. 그 기계는 제가 쓰려고 한건데요.

Woman: Yeah, well, now you're kinda not.
       네, 그래도, 지금은 안 쓰고 있잖아요.

Rachel: But I saved it. I put my basket on top.
        하지만 제가 찜 해놓은거에요. 위에 제 바구니가 있었잖아요.

Woman: Oh, I'm sorry, is that your basket?
       오, 미안해요, 이게 당신 바구닌가요?

       It's really pretty. Unfortunately, I don't see suds.
       바구니가 참 예쁘네요. 안됐지만, 거품이 안 보이는군요.

Rachel: What?
        네?

Woman: No suds, no save. Ok?
       거품이 없으면, 찜은 무효라구요. 알아 들어요?

(Ross arrives.)
(로스가 도착한다.)

Ross: What's goin' on?
      무슨 일이야?

Rachel: Hi, uh, nothing.
        안녕, 어, 아무 일도 아냐.

        That horrible woman just took my machine.
        저 무시무시한 아줌마가 내 기계를 가로챘어.

Ross: Was your basket on top?
      바구니 올려 놨었어?

Rachel: Yeah, but, there were no suds.
        응, 하지만, 거품이 안 묻어 있었거든.

Ross: So?
      그런데?

Rachel: Well, you know, no suds, no save.
        너도 알잖아, 거품이 안 묻어 있으면, 찜도 무효라는거.

Ross: No suds? Excuse me, hold on a second.
      거품이 없어? 실례, 잠깐만요.

     (to woman) That's my friend's machine.
     (여자에게) 그건 내 친구가 쓰려던 기계인데요.

Woman: Hey, hey, hey, her stuff wasn't in it.
       이봐, 이봐, 이봐, 그 안엔 저 여자의 물건이 안 들어 있었다구.

Ross: Hey, hey, hey, that's not the rule and you know it.
      이봐, 이봐, 이봐, 그런 규칙이 없다는 건 당신도 잘 안텐데.

(The woman and Ross stare at each other. Finally she takes her stuff out of the machine and leaves.)
(여자와 로스는 서로 노려본다. 결국 여자는 기계에서 자신의 물건을 꺼내고 떠난다.)

Ross: (to the crowd in the laundromat) All right, show's over. Nothing to see here.
      (빨래방안의 사람들에게) 자, 쇼는 끝났습니다. 이제 구경거리는 없어요.

      (to Rachel) Ok, let's do laundry.
      (레이첼에게) 이제 빨래나 하자.

Rachel: That was amazing. I can't even send back soup.
        정말 놀랍다. 난 대꾸도 못했을꺼야.

Ross: Well, that's because you're such a sweet, gentle,
      그건, 네가 귀엽고, 부드러우니까,

      uh...Do you, uh, do you...Oh, hey, uh you must need detergent.
      어... 너, 어, 너... 오, 세제가 필요해.

(Ross pulls out a huge box of laundry detergent.)
(로스가 큰 상자로 된 빨래용 세제를 꺼낸다.)

Rachel: What's that?
        그건 뭐야?

Ross: Uberveiss. It's new, it's German, it's extra-tough.
      우버르바이스. 독일제 신제품인데, 끝내주게 잘 빨린데.

(Chandler walks back to couch, where Janice is.)

       (she gets extremely wound up, and begins to try and calm herself down)

Rachel: Ok, I know this is gonna sound really stupid,

        but I feel that if I can do this, you know, if I can actually do my own laundry,

Ross: (not wanting to tell her)

Monica: Something went wrong with Underdog, and they couldn't get his head to inflate.
        언더독에게 무슨 문제가 생겨서, 머리를 부풀어 오르게 할 수 없었죠.

        So anyway, um, his head is like flopping down Broadway, right, and I'm just thinking...

        Chandler is still trying to ease things over with Janice,

        and there are about a dozen empty Espresso cups in front of him.

        He is extremely wired.]

Chandler: Here's the thing, Janice. You know, I mean, it's like we're different.

         (Chandler flails his hand out and hits Janice in the eye)

(Janice returns from the bathroom.)

(Phoebe goes over to speak to Janice.

She talks to her for a few seconds, and then Janice immediately smiles, hugs her, waves to Chandler, and leaves.)

(The same woman walks over and takes Rachel's laundry cart.)

(Rachel looks at Ross, who motions to her to get the cart back.)

        Uh, this is our cart.

(They struggle for the cart. Finally, Rachel climbs inside of it.)

(Rachel stands up and kisses Ross. He is stunned. A moment of silence follows.)
