A Prayer for Living as a Christian This Week

Heavenly Father, full of love and grace,

We thank you for protecting and guiding our lives throughout the past week.

As we start this new week, we earnestly pray to live as true Christians, relying solely on You.

Word and Prayer:

Grant us the strength this week, amidst the world's busy distractions,

to draw near to Your Word and to live a life of unceasing prayer in the Holy Spirit.

May Your Word give us wisdom and insight, and may our prayers lead us into deep fellowship with You.

Repentance and Purity:

If there are any ways we have gone against Your will or sinned in thought, word, or deed this past week,

we sincerely repent before You now.

We ask for Your compassion and forgiveness.

Cleanse and purify our hearts and souls through the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Obedience and Companionship:

May the sole reason and purpose of our lives be for Your glory,

and may this week be one where we joyfully obey Your will, not ours.

Light and Salt:

Help us to be the light and salt wherever we are—in our workplace, school, home,

and all social settings, radiating the fragrance of Christ.

Keep us from conforming to the world's values,

and let us firmly maintain our Christian identity by bearing witness to You with faith and integrity.

Love and Service:

Enable us to practice love in all the relationships You have granted us,

and to be peacemakers who serve our neighbors with humility.

Especially, give us the grace to show love and pray persistently for those who are struggling or difficult to reach.

Victory and Peace:

In the midst of the world's temptations, trials, and hardships,

help us to triumph through the power and strength provided by the Holy Spirit.

Allow us to cast all our anxieties and worries onto You,

and let Your heavenly peace keep our hearts and minds.

Health and Strength:

Help us to take good care of the body and mind You have given us,

and grant us physical and spiritual strength to fulfill the missions and roles entrusted to us.

Blessing for Family:

May You personally rule over our homes, filling them with grace and peace,

and uniting all family members in faith.

Work and Study:

Add Your wisdom to our workplaces, and grant us the focus and clear mind needed to dedicate ourselves to our studies.

May our efforts be fruitful, and may we experience Your grace through all that we accomplish.

Guide all our steps this week, and allow us to live as faithful children who give You thanks and glory in every moment of our lives.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior who is with us now.

사랑과 은혜가 풍성하신 하나님 아버지,

지나간 한 주간도 저희의 삶을 지켜주시고 인도해 주셨음에 감사드립니다.

이 새롭게 시작하는 한 주간에도 주님만을 의지하며 참된 그리스도인으로 살아가기를 소망하며 기도드립니다.

1. 주님을 향한 마음

(1)말씀과 기도:

이번 한 주간 세상의 분주함 속에서도 주님의 말씀을 가까이하고,

성령 안에서 쉬지 않고 기도하는 삶을 살게 하옵소서.

말씀을 통해 지혜와 명철을 얻게 하시고, 기도 가운데 주님과의 깊은 교제를 누리게 하옵소서.

(2) 회개와 정결:

지난 한 주간 저희의 생각과 말과 행동으로 주님의 뜻을 거스르거나 죄를 지은 것이 있다면,

이 시간 주님 앞에 진심으로 회개하오니 긍휼히 여겨 용서하여 주시옵소서.

예수 그리스도의 보혈로 저희의 마음과 영혼을 깨끗하게 정결케 하여 주시옵소서.

(3) 순종과 동행:

저희의 삶의 이유와 목적이 오직 하나님의 영광을 위한 삶이 되게 하시고,

저희의 뜻이 아닌 주님의 뜻을 따라 기쁨으로 순종하는 한 주가 되게 인도하여 주옵소서.

2. 세상 속에서의 삶

(1) 빛과 소금:

저희가 처한 직장, 학교, 가정, 모든 사회 속에서 그리스도의 향기를 드러내는

빛과 소금의 역할을 감당하게 하옵소서.

세상의 가치관을 따르지 않고, 믿음과 정직함으로 주님을 증거하며

그리스도인의 정체성을 굳건히 지키게 하옵소서.

(2) 사랑과 섬김:

저희에게 허락하신 모든 관계 속에서 사랑을 실천하게 하시고,

겸손한 마음으로 이웃을 섬기며 화평을 이루는 자가 되게 하옵소서.

특히 불편하고 어려운 사람을 위해 사랑을 베풀고 포기하지 않고 기도하게 하옵소서.

(3) 승리와 평안:

세상의 유혹과 고난, 시험 가운데서도 성령님의 능력과 공급하시는 힘으로 승리하게 하옵소서.

염려와 근심을 주님께 맡기고, 오직 주님께서 주시는 하늘의 평강으로 저희의 마음과 생각을 지켜 주시옵소서.

3. 개인적인 간구

(1) 건강과 강건함:

주님께서 주신 저희의 몸과 마음을 건강하게 돌보게 하시고, 영육 간의 강건함을 허락하사 맡겨진 사명과 역할을 잘 감당하게 하옵소서.

(2) 가정의 축복:

저희의 가정을 주님께서 친히 다스려 주셔서 은혜와 평강이 넘치게 하시고, 모든 가족 구성원이 믿음 안에서 하나 되게 하옵소서.

(3) 일터와 학업:

저희의 일터에 주님의 지혜를 더하시고, 학업에 전심을 다할 수 있는 명철과 집중력을 주시옵소서.

모든 일에 성과를 내게 하시고, 저희의 노력을 통해 주님의 은혜를 경험하게 하옵소서.

이번 한 주간 저희의 모든 걸음을 인도하여 주시고,

삶의 모든 순간 주님께 감사와 영광을 돌리는 믿음의 자녀로 살게 하여 주시옵소서.

이 모든 말씀 우리를 구원하시고 지금도 우리와 함께하시는

예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 기도드립니다.
