由三名聽障人士組成的偶像組合“Big Ocean”於4月20日韓國“殘疾人日”出道，歌曲《Glow》翻唱自韓流組合H.O.T.的《Hope》，編舞融入了韓文手語、英文手語和國際手語。昨日（4.23），組合發佈YouTube影片，成員為觀眾講解並發起《Glow》副歌部分的韓語手語挑戰。

“Big Ocean”的三位成員分別在不同的人生階段失去了聽力，他們透過光節拍器和振動手表來把握歌曲節奏。據悉，成員們用自己的嗓音錄音，人工智能技術用於彌補高音區等個別不足之處。

為了出道，三位成員經過了約一年半的訓練，而在此之前，他們都有自己的事業：Lee Chan-yeon是高麗大學安岩醫院的聽力學家，Kim Ji-seok是高山滑雪健將，Park Hyun-jin是一位記錄殘疾人日常生活的YouTuber。

“Big Ocean”成員表示，希望有一天，殘疾能夠僅被當作某人身體的一種特徵，甚至不需要“無障礙”的想法。

The three members of "Big Ocean" lost their hearing at different stages of their lives, using light metronomes and vibrating watches to grasp the rhythm of the song.Members are known to record their own voices and use artificial intelligence technology to compensate for individual shortcomings such as high-pitched areas.

Before their debut, the three members trained for about a year and a half, each had their own careers: Lee Chan-yeon, an audiologist at Korea University's Anam Hospital, Kim Ji-seok, an alpine skier, and Park Hyun-jin, a YouTuber who records the daily lives of disabled people.

Big Ocean members say they hope that one day disability will only be considered a feature of someone's body, without even the need for "barrier-free" ideas.

청각장애인 3명으로 구성된 아이돌 그룹 '빅오션'은 지난 4월 20일 '장애인의 날'에 데뷔했으며, 'Glow'는 한류그룹 H.O.T.의 'Hope'는 한글 수화, 영어 수화, 국제 수화를 안무에 접목했다.어제(4.23) 유튜브 영상을 통해 멤버들이 '글로우' 후렴구에 대한 한국어 수화 도전장을 내밀었다.

'빅오션'의 세 멤버는 각기 다른 생애에 걸쳐 청력을 잃었고, 빛 메트로놈과 진동 손목시계를 통해 곡의 리듬을 잡았다.멤버들은 자신의 목소리로 녹음하고, 인공지능(AI) 기술은 고음역 등 개별적인 단점을 보완하는 데 활용되는 것으로 알려졌다.

데뷔를 위해 약 1년 반의 트레이닝 기간을 거친 세 멤버는 이전까지 이찬연은 고려대 안암병원 청력학자, 김지석은 알파인스키 실력자, 박현진은 장애인 일상을 담은 유튜버로 활동했다.

빅오션 멤버들은 언젠가 장애가 누군가의 신체적 특징으로만 받아들여지고 배리어 프리라는 생각조차 필요 없는 날이 오기를 바란다고 말한다.
