미세분말설탕 분사기(Sugar Dusting Bellows)에 관해서

"가루설탕(제과용<製葉用>)사용은 전세계적으로 점점 더 수용되어지고 있습니다. 그러므로 1kg 용량을 가진 공기풍로로 작동되는 미세가루설탕 분무기를 내놓습니다. 약제실(chamber)에 마른 분말설탕을 채우고 분무기 튜브를 소문을 통해 벌통으로 삽입한 후 격렬하게 펌푸질을 하십시오. 분사기를 신속하게 왼쪽에서 오른쪽으로 그리고 앞에서 뒤로 이동하면서 분무하십시오. 대략 20초 정도 계속 분무하면 됩니다. 카드나 끈끈한 종이를 벌통 바닥에 삽입하는 것이 바로아 응애가 즉시 떨어지기 때문에 좋은 아이디어일 것입니다." 

The use of icing sugar is becoming more and more accepted worldwide. We are now therefore offering this 1kg capacity air bellow operated duster. Simply fill the chamber with dry icing sugar, insert tube into hive through the floor and pump vigorously. Moving the bellows quickly from left to right and front to back. Continue for approximately 20 seconds. A card or sticky floor insert is a good idea as the varroa drop can be immediate.

분말설탕 분무 방법 이외에 끈적거리는 종이를 벌통 바닥에 넣어서 바로아 응애가 떨어지도록 하는 방법(putting a sticky board on the hive bottom and letting the mites fall in that)도 있다고 합니다.
