3. 중심종교·국가의 사명이 기독교와 미국으로 옮겨져 - 3

하나님이 이렇게 문명의 극치를 누리게 하고 눈부신 축복을 주신 것은 영국만을 위한 것이 아니라 세계를 구하려는 하나님의 뜻을 성사시키기 위함이었습니다. 당시 하나님의 뜻을 이루려고 이상적인 국가를 꿈꾸고 나섰던 청교도 운동자들과 신교 운동자들이 합세하여 영국 전체가 하나되었더라면 초국가적인 입장에서 하나님의 뜻 가운데 뭉쳐 명실공히 유나이티드 킹덤(연합왕국)이라는 세계적인 국가 형태를 이루었을 것입니다.

그러나 영국은 이 지대한 사명을 깨닫지 못하고 하나님의 축복을 영국만을 위한 것으로 누리는 한편, 세계를 구원하려 하기보다도 청교도를 핍박하고 식민지를 착취하는 입장에 떨어졌으니, 거기서 하나님의 뜻은 다시 옮겨질 수밖에 없었던 것입니다.

당시 청교도가 반대와 핍박에 못 이겨 고난길을 피하여 신앙의 자유를 찾아 교회와 나라를 버리고 나선 가나안 땅과 같은 곳이 미대륙이었습니다. 하늘의 뜻을 품고 생명을 걸고 대서양을 건너온 대표적인 무리가 여러분의 조상 청교도들이었습니다.

그들과 더불어 하늘의 축복은 미대륙으로 옮겨졌고, 그리하여 여기에 모여든 초민족적 신교도의 무리는 신앙의 자유를 위하여 하나님의 뜻 가운데 굳게 뭉쳐 독립군을 일으켜 영국과 싸워 결국 하나님의 가호 밑에 승전하게 된 것입니다. 이리하여 신교를 중심한 초민족적인 국가가 형성되었으니, 그것이 바로 미국의 건국 역사입니다.

그리하여 미국은 하나님의 뜻을 중심하고 세계 구원의 기수가 되어 교회와 국가가 하나로 뭉쳐 하나님의 역사적 소원인 전 세계를 구하여 뜻의 세계로 통일시키려는 중대한 사명을 짊어지게 된 것입니다. 미국의 건국이념이 ‘하나님 아래 하나의 나라’였다는 것은 우연한 일이 아니요, 오직 하나님의 뜻 가운데 된 것이었습니다.

이러한 목적으로 하나님은 6천년 섭리역사를 승리로 완결짓는 동시에 이스라엘 실패 이후 2천년 역사를 제1 이스라엘 나라와 유태교를 대신한 입장에서 상속 계승한 것이 미국과 기독교였습니다.

예수님 이후 2천년 동안에 실수했던 내외적 조건을 2백년 역사를 통하여 청산짓고, 미국은 정신문명과 물질문명을 겸하여 준비하며 하나님의 뜻 가운데 세계를 구하려고 다시 오시는 메시아를 맞을 조건을 구비한 나라가 된 것입니다. 그리하여 기독교와 미국이 합하여 하나님의 뜻을 세계적으로 완결지을 제2 이스라엘형인 세계적 국가가 된 것을 여러분은 알아야 합니다.

第2章 アメリカを中心とした神様の計画

3. 中心宗教と中心国家の使命がキリスト教とアメリカに移る - 3

神様がこのように、イギリスに文明の極致を享受させ、輝かしい祝福を与えたのは、イギリスだけのためではなく、世界を救おうとされる神様のみ旨を成就させるためでした。

当時、神様のみ旨を成就しようと理想的国家を夢見て立ち上がった清教徒運動者とプロテスタント運動者が合致して、イギリス全体が一つになっていたとすれば、超国家的な立場で、神様のみ旨の中で一つになり、名実ともの「ユナイテッドキングダム(United Kindgom:連合王国)」という世界的な国家形態を築いたのです。

しかし、イギリスは、この重大な使命を悟り得ず、神様の祝福をイギリスだけのためのものとして享受し、一方、清教徒を迫害し、植民地から搾取する立場に陥ってしまったので、そこで神様のみ旨は再び移らざるを得なくなったのです。

当時、清教徒が、反対と迫害に耐えかね、苦難を打開し、信仰の自由を求めて、教会と国を捨てて立ち上がったカナンの地のような所がアメリカ大陸でした。天のみ旨を携えて、命を懸けて大西洋を渡ってきた代表的な群れが、皆様の先祖「ピルグリム·ファーザーズ」だったのです。

彼らと共に天の祝福はアメリカ大陸に移りました。そのようにしてここに集まった超民族的清教徒の群れは、信仰の自由のために神様のみ旨の中で強く団結し、独立軍を起こしてイギリスと戦った結果、神様の加護のもとに勝利しました。このようにしてプロテスタントを中心とした超民族的な国家が形成されたのですが、これが正にアメリカの建国の歴史です。

そのようにしてアメリカは、神様のみ旨を中心として世界救援の旗手となり、教会と国家が一つに団結し、神様の歴史的な願いである全世界救援のみ旨を果たす重大な使命を負うようになったのです。アメリカの建国理念が「神様のもとに一つの国」だったことは、何も偶然なことではなく、すべて神様のみ旨の中でそのようになったのです。

このように、神様は六千年の摂理歴史を勝利で完結させる目的のために、イスラエルの失敗以後の二千年歴史を、第一イスラエルの国とユダヤ教に代わる立場で相続、継承したのがアメリカとキリスト教でした。

イエス様以降二千年間に失敗した内外の条件を、二百年の歴史を通じて清算し、アメリカは精神文明と物質文明を兼ね備えて、神様のみ旨の中で世界を救うために再び来られるメシヤを迎える条件を具備した国になったのです。そうしてキリスト教とアメリカが一つになって、神様のみ旨を世界的に完結すべき、第二イスラエル型の世界的国家となったことを、皆様は知らなければなりません。

3. Christianity and America are the central religion and central nation - 3

God allowed England to enjoy the height of civilization and bestowed glorious blessings on it, not for England alone but in order to fulfill His Will of saving the world. 

If the Puritans, who had come forth dreaming of an ideal nation to fulfill the Will of God, had joined forces with the Anglicans, England could have united under the Will of God with the power to move the world. They would have formed a global nation, a United Kingdom not just in name but also in reality. 

However, the Church of England was unable to recognize this important mission and, while enjoying the blessings of God solely for itself, it persecuted the Puritans rather than catching their vision to bring light to the world. So finally God’s Will had to move away.

The Puritans, unable to endure the opposition and persecution, left their churches and their nation behind and set out to escape from the path of suffering and find the freedom to practice their faith.

Their land of Canaan was the American continent. The people who crossed the Atlantic Ocean at the risk of their lives, cherishing the Will of God in their hearts, were your ancestors, the Puritans.

Together with the Puritans, the blessings of Heaven moved to the North American continent, and thus an international population of Protestants and other faiths gathered here, united under the Will of God.

Eventually they raised an army to fight against England for independence and for religious freedom, and won the American Revolution under the divine protection of God. In this manner, an international and interracial nation was formed centering on Protestantism. This is the history of the founding of the United States.

Here, the United States became the standard-bearer of world salvation centered on God’s Will. It came to shoulder the important mission of harmonizing church and state into one culture.

Its mission was to save the entire world by uniting it with His Will, which is the historical desire of God. The founding principles of the United States eventually were articulated as “One Nation under God,” which is not a coincidence, for the country came into existence under the Will of God.

For this purpose, God brought the six-thousand-year history of His providence to a victorious stage, and at the same time, after Israel’s mistake, the United States and Christianity inherited and carried forward the two-thousand-year Christian providence.

Through its two-hundred-year history, the United States brought an end to the internal and external mistakes that occurred during the two thousand years after the time of Jesus.

By preparing both a spiritual and material civilization, it became the nation equipped with the conditions to receive the Messiah, who comes again to save the world under the Will of God.

You need to know that in this way the United States and Christianity together have become the global nation in the position of a Second Israel, “with the soul of a church,” which will complete the Will of God worldwide.
