올랜도 팬인데..올랜도가 8위라니 정말 카터 이번시즌 뭔가 보여줘야 할듯싶네요...

1. L.A. Lakers. Ron Artest is a bit odd and surely has kept many a general manager awake at night. With Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant, though? Nothing to worry about.

2. Cleveland. Shaquille O'Neal can still play. Get him 11-13 shots per game, then keep your fingers crossed when he's at the free-throw line, and the Cavs will easily win 65-plus games. 

3. Boston. Rajon Rondo's 16.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 9.8 assists in last year's playoffs were impressive. But how do those numbers fit with a healthy Kevin Garnett?

4. San Antonio. Richard Jefferson is a nice addition to a team that badly needs him. But don't overlook the impact Antonio McDyess could have off the bench.

5. Dallas. It's possible that the Mavs will have Shawn Marion, Drew Gooden and Jason Terry coming off the bench. All three would start for five or six NBA teams.

6. Portland. Andre Miller could be the piece the Blazers are missing to get this young bunch to championship level. But by the time the young pieces reach their prime, Miller might be too old.

7. Washington. Yes, we've got the Wiz very high in this poll. But Gilbert Arenas is healthy, and we challenge you to find a deeper bench in the league.

8. Orlando. Adding Vince Carter was the splashy move. But adding Brandon Bass, Jason Williams and Matt Barnes might be the moves that matter most for this roster.

9. Denver. Last year was a magical season for the Nuggets. But a lot of teams have learned that it's difficult to recapture a magical season the following year.

10. New Orleans. With players like Peja Stojakovic and Morris Peterson falling into disrepair, and with Chris Paul badly needing a quality backup, there is big-time pressure on Darren Collison, Marcus Thornton and (egads!) Julian Wright.

11. Toronto. Hedo Turkoglu should help the team fix a number of problems. But he probably can't get Andrea Bargnani to rebound.

12. Atlanta. Not quite sure what Mike Woodson has done to not deserve a new contract.

13. Utah. You might be worried about the Carlos Boozer situation. But I'd be a little more concerned with that 15-26 road record last season.

14. Phoenix. The Suns will be running and gunning again. But not with Mike D'Antoni at the helm or Shawn Marion on the floor or much of a bench to speak of.

15. Chicago. Something about the John Salmons-Luol Deng combo just has to make you think this bunch won't miss Ben Gordon that much.

16. Philadelphia. The Elton Brand comeback might be the top story in Philly this season, but whether Lou Williams can play point guard is even more interesting.

17. Miami. Everyone keeps talking about how little the Heat did this summer. Hey, what about Quentin Richardson?

18. Detroit. Ben Gordon has a chance to be the best sixth man of his generation. He didn't realize that in Chicago. Let's hope he finally does.

19. Golden State. Stephen Curry is too skinny. He is not enough of a point guard. He can't run a team. Hmm. Maybe. But the guy is a danged good basketball player, and Don Nelson does well in using good basketball players.

20. Oklahoma City. Kevin Durant has shown a steady improvement of his individual skill. But there's enough talent now for him to help lift this group as a team.

21. L.A. Clippers. This team has too much talent to be sitting down here at No. 21. It's going to be a big prove-it year for Mike Dunleavy.

22. Charlotte. What if Tyson Chandler's ankle doesn't hold up? What if Ray Felton leaves next summer? That will give the Bobcats very little to show for five lottery picks from 2004-07 (Emeka Okafor, Felton, Sean May, Adam Morrison, Brandan Wright). 

23. Houston. No Yao Ming? No Ron Artest? A hobbled Tracy McGrady? Somehow the Rockets are still optimistic about this year. 

24. Milwaukee. Andrew Bogut and Michael Redd are healthy. But the Bucks need more around them before they can have a breakthrough.

25. Indiana. Even with all the injuries, at some point, coach Jim O'Brien is going to have to put things together or be shown the door. And eventually, so will Larry Bird.

26. Minnesota. Al Jefferson says he has lost a good bit of weight. What the team wants, though, is for him to gain a good bit of defensive intensity.

27. Memphis. Perhaps Allen Iverson can change, and perhaps he can be the leader of this team. Perhaps not. If not, though, then have the Grizzlies really lost anything?

28. New York. Eddy Curry, Jared Jeffries, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Jordan Hill and Toney Douglas. That's how to the 2010-11 Knicks are shaping up (before free-agent signings, at least).

29. New Jersey. Mr. Prokhorov, Russian for "lottery" is "ЛОТЕРЕЯ." Got that?

30. Sacramento. Paul Westphal may be heading into one of the most difficult jobs in pro sports. But that still makes it one of the cushiest jobs in America.

빈스카터를 영입하고 SG 자리가 엄청나게 보강되긴 했지만 히더 터콜루가 빠지면서 피에트러스가 주전 3번으로 나올 가능성이 높아지고 코트니 리 라는 백업 SG를 잃어서 조금 내린 것 같네요..ㅠ

이런 말도 안되는.. 덴버와 올랜도가 어떻게 워싱턴보다 낮을 수가 있는지.. 그리고 사실 보스턴은 아무리 봐도 레이커스보다 위에 두어도 이상하지 않을 전력인데.. 역시 가넷의 부상회복여부가 순위에 영향을 미치는 것 같군요.

저도 두팀이 거의 동급의 전력이라고 생각합니다. 올시즌 레이커스의 로스터는 거의 완벽하지만 보스턴도 그 못지 않죠. 제 말은 이렇듯 두팀의 전력이 막상막하이므로 전문가의 성향에 따라 혹자는 보스턴을 혹자는 레이커스를 우위로 둘 수도 있다는 뜻이죠.

전력상으로 보면 대등하겠지만, 가넷의 회복여부란 의문부호가 있으니 저 정도 순위는 적당한 듯합니다. 레이커스는 디펜딩 챔피언에 전력도 보강되었고, 클리블랜드 역시 66승 팀에 (예전만큼은 아니지만) 샤크가 돌아왔으니까요. 시즌 개막후에 모든게 밝혀지겠죠. 그리고 제 생각에도 덴버와 올랜도는 너무 말도 안되네요.
