This is somewhat orthogonal to your issue but is still relevant regarding different hair products you have used or might be considering to use.

I am 27 and experienced moderate hair loss for the last 5-6 years.

I had bought 6 bottles of Provillus, a hair loss treatment for men with "No Side Effects" and "100% Money Back Guarantee!"

I could not even use one full bottle because when I used it religiously for 7 days,

I started having a bad headache like I never had before.

I went to the doctor and he advised me to stop using that as that was something new to my lifestyle.

I stopped Provillus for a week and my headache was gone.

 I started it again and the headache came back within one week's use of Provillus.

After that I have been afraid to use it any more.

이 사람은 프로빌러스를 쓰고 나서 두통이라는 부작용을 겪었다고 하는군요. 05년 11월입니다.

I would like to return the 6 bottles of Provillus of which 5 are still unused and one is about half used.

For that I needed to fill out an RMA Request Form (http://www.websupportcenter.com/rma.php)

I have done that 5 times in the last 2 months but never received a RMA number.

When I called them at 1-800-238-1413, they just disconnected the call abruptly without answering me.

When I called the second time, this was their reply:

"Maybe the email we sent with the RMA number was in your junk email folder that was deleted."

So I again filled out the RMA form, created a new email address and waited but no email was received, nor did anyone contact me on phone.

I wasted $170.90 for this worthless product and an even more worthless company.

So, before you get attracted to such satisfaction guarantee offers,

do keep in mind that these offers are more to allure customers than for anything else,

especially for hair-loss products that seldom work!

영국도 여전히 탈모 제품 업체들의 과대 광고와 폐해들이 넘치는 듯... -.,-

Don't know much about Provillus, but like all these 'natural' products they all contain the usual Saw Palmetto...

of which you can waste a shed load of money on. No pun intended.

이 사람은 프로빌러스의 주 성분이 톱팔메토이고, 돈 버리지 말라고 하는군요. -.-;;; 2005년 11월입니다.

(이 성분에 대해서 이야기 하자면.. 프로페시아만큼이나 길어져서.. 나중으로 미룹니다.) 

The Nourkin referred to is different in the fact that it is fish oil based I think or fish something.

Gets advertised here in the UK by women only. Although they say men can use it as well, but they would wouldn't they.

Its ?50 for just one month's supply. They can double their profit.

Another 'natural' product is something called 'Superior Hair' by Food Science of Vermont.

Another waste of space and their after sales technique also leaves alot to be desired.

As soon as I emailed them to ask why it had the reverse effect I got a reply which was CCd to about 20 board members,

because all they were probably worried about was a law suit.

It hadn't even crossed my mind. When I told them I wasn't interested in a refund but wanted to know their scientific thoughts on why it was doing it....

you can guess the rest. Not interested. Avoid like the plague.

I would be interested if anyone who has actually tried that Nourkin before getting conned yet again by another Ba**ard firm creaming off of our misfortune.

I've started to use Provillus and have just completed 2 weeks.

I have found that by the end of the 2nd week, my hair is much more fuller already.

이 사람은 2주만에 효과를 보았다고 하는군요.

Do you know how this product compares to Procerin?

The manufacturers of Procerin informed me that Provillus is a copy of their product.

Procerin is much cheaper ($119.95/6 bottles) than Provillus ($149.95/6 bottles)

but the basis of my decision was on the reviews in (other websites),

which had placed Provillus as the top product. Feedback on that AskDocWeb and anyone else?

제목부터 강력하죠. 프로빌러스 끔찍해요. -.,-;; 2006년입니다.

그리고 이렇게 말하죠.

produces a “watered-down” version of their own using substandard,

cheaper ingredients, and then uses claims that go completely against the FDA’s regulations for dietary supplements.

The company also makes lots of other cheap versions of weight loss, breast enlargement, and penis enlargement pills.

Stay away from them, use a proven product.

흠... 프로빌러스 소개하는 많은 사이트에 비해(이런 데는 좋은 말 천지..) 

이상하게 나쁜 리플이 많습니다만... (제가 그런 것만 본 건지 몰라도..)

개인적으로 삼탈모 운영진 몇 분이 쓰신다고는 하지만...

찬찬히 더 조사해보고 쓰시는 것이 어떠신지요?

기본적으로 프로빌러스 주 성분 중 하나인 톱팔메토에 대해서도 더 알아야 할 것이구요.

이게... 우리나라에는 안전성과 건전성이 입증되지 않아 식품원료로 사용 못하고 정상적으로 살 수도 없는 것으로 알고 있습니다.

삼탈모를 아끼시는 것도 좋지만, 외국에 우리의 실험 탈모인들이 많으니... -.,-;;

충분한 정보 구한 뒤 써보시고, 건강 챙기시길 간곡히 부탁드립니다. ^^

항상 좋은 정보 감사합니다.^^ 프페나 프카의 부작용에 대한 보고에 비교하면 상대는 안되겠죠..그런데도 우리는 그걸 알면서도 먹잖아요...질병 내지는 질환을 안고 사는 사람들의 비애이며 현대의학의 한계이지 않나 싶습니다. 어쩃던 말씀 하신것처럼 이런 위험을 안고 시도하시는 분들께 박수 보냅니다. 짝! 짝!!
