Amid disruptions to government services, including mobile IDs, caused by a fire at the National Information Resources Service in Daejeon, Korea Airports Corporation on the 27th announced that travelers must carry physical identification documents when using airports.

On the same day, Korea Airports Corporation posted a notice on the websites of 14 domestic airports it operates and manages, stating, “Due to the fire at the National Information Resources Service on the 26th, some government computer services (mobile IDs, Government 24, etc.) are experiencing disruptions. Since identity verification via mobile IDs or Government 24 may be difficult, please ensure you carry a physical ID when using airports or use Bio-pass.”

Physical IDs accepted at airports include resident registration cards, driver’s licenses, and passports. First-time Bio-pass users must bring a physical ID.

Additionally, the corporation stated, “Minors should print and carry required documents or prepare original files in advance, such as physical IDs or necessary paperwork.”

The corporation also noted that vehicles of disabled individuals and national merit recipients that entered parking lots after 8:20 p.m. on the 26th may not receive automatic parking fee discounts. However, multi-child families, low-emission vehicles (electric, hybrid), and compact cars will receive normal automatic discounts.

For vehicles not eligible for automatic discounts, the corporation advised, “Press the ‘Call’ button at the payment terminal and follow the guidance of the Integrated Parking Support Center. If you have already exited, apply for a post-refund following the instructions on the website.”

Issues also arose when applying for new discounts on bus and rail tickets. On the same day, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that some services linked to government computer networks affected by the fire—such as new applications for bus and rail ticket discounts for multi-child families, national merit recipients, and disabled individuals—are facing delays. According to the ministry, those encountering difficulties can temporarily receive discounts by submitting physical IDs and proof documents when booking tickets.

대전 국가정보자원관리원 화재로 모바일 신분증 등 정부 서비스에 장애가 발생한 가운데, 27일 한국공항공사가 공항 이용 시 반드시 실물 신분증을 지참해달라고 안내했다.

이날 한국공항공사는 공사가 운영·관리하는 국내 14개 공항 홈페이지에 “26일 국가정보자원관리원 화재로 인하여 일부 정부 전산서비스(모바일 신분증, 정부 24 등)에 장애가 발생하고 있다”며 “모바일 신분증, 정부 24를 통한 신분 확인이 어려울 수 있으니 공항 이용 시에는 실물 신분증을 반드시 지참하거나, 바이오패스를 이용해달라”는 안내문을 올렸다.

공항에서 사용 가능한 실물 신분증은 주민등록증, 운전면허증, 여권 등이 해당한다. 바이오패스를 최초로 이용하는 이들은 실물 신분증을 챙겨야 한다.

또 공항공사는 “미성년자의 경우 실물 신분증 또는 필요한 서류를 사전에 인쇄해 지참하거나, 원본 파일을 저장해 준비해달라”고 밝혔다.

공항공사는 26일 오후 8시 20분 이후에 입차한 장애인, 국가유공자 차량은 주차장 이용료 자동 할인이 적용되지 않을 수도 있다고 했다. 반면 다자녀와 저공해(전기차, 하이브리드), 경차는 정상 자동 감면된다고 한다.

공항공사는 “자동할인 미적용 차량은 정산기의 ‘호출’ 버튼을 눌러 통합주차지원센터의 안내 절차를 따라 달라”며 “이미 출차한 경우 홈페이지 안내에 따라 사후 환불을 신청해달라”고 했다.

버스와 철도 승차권 할인 혜택을 신규 신청할 때도 문제가 발생했다. 이날 국토교통부는 국가정보자원관리원 화재로 장애가 발생한 정부 전산망과 연계된 버스와 철도 등의 일부 서비스에 차질이 빚어지고 있다고 밝혔다. 다자녀·국가유공자·장애인의 버스와 철도 승차권 할인 혜택 신규 신청을 위한 인증이 원활히 이뤄지지 않고 있다고 한다.

국토부에 따르면, 철도·버스 할인 혜택 신규 신청에 어려움을 겪는 이들은 예매 시 실물 신분증과 증명 서류 등을 제출하면 일단 할인 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
