The Avatamsaka Sutra, Chief in Goodness (현수품 19-6)

[眞如華]

     19-6.

     或以無常衆苦門      或以無我壽者門

     或以不淨離欲門      或以滅盡三昧門

     혹은 무상한 온갖 고통의 문으로써 하고

     혹은 아와 수자가 없는 문으로써 하고

     혹은 부정하므로 욕망을 여의는 문으로써 하고

     혹은 멸진삼매의 문으로써 하나니라.

Some use the teachings of the miseries of impermanence,

Some use the teachings of no self and no life,

Some use the teachings of impurity and detachment from desire,

Some use the approach of extinctive concentration.

Some use the teachings of; 혹은 ~ 문으로써 하고

the miseries of impermanence; 무상한 온갖 고통의

Some use the teachings of; 혹은 ~ 문으로써 하고

no self and no life; 아와 수자가 없는

Some use the teachings of; 혹은 ~ 문으로써 하고

impurity and detachment from desire

; 부정하므로 욕망을 여의는

Some use the approach of; 혹은 ~ 문으로써 하나니라

extinctive concentration; 멸진삼매의
