Brief Thoughts While in Prison
One day I saw a person who had a good character. I saw someone just like Jesus, who doesn’t claim what he has as his own, not even his own life, but considers them as God’s. Everything this person possessed belonged to God.
Everything that God creates belongs to God. The one who claims what he has not created as his own is the devil.
People who are created by God live by what God has created [for them]. Beneath the heavens, there is something I have come to realize. For example, let’s say I have a lot of money. To whom does this money belong? I belong to God, and the money I have also belongs to God. From the beginning, I did not bring anything.
Also, during my life, I have seen myself in different ways several times. Even when I was in my flesh, it was me, and even when I was outside of my flesh, it was me. There was me who was in pain but kept on striving, saying that I would not die, and then there was me without pain, wearing the same clothes and going somewhere in this world as I looked around. Suddenly at this moment, as I was thinking about struggling to not die at that place a short while ago, I came back to life again at this place. How did this happen? Even before getting sick, it was me; even when I was sick, it was me; going somewhere was also me; and coming back to life at this place was also me and my flesh.
I have received numerous persecutions for my life of faith. Even now, I’m receiving persecution from numerous believers. Is the life of faith that I’m carrying out wrong? Peter, Paul and Jesus also received numerous persecutions. I also have experienced the prison life that the prophets and apostles had experienced. What was it like for the martyred spirits as they watched me?
