Stocks are falling again on Wall Street as AI mania loses more steam and as more companies pull their forecasts because of uncertainty created by President Donald Trump's trade war.
The S&P 500 fell 0.7(seven tenths)% in the first hour of trading Tuesday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 229 points, about 0.6(six tenths)%, but as that composite(종합지수)sank 1%, two big AI-related companies led the declines: chip company Nvidia and Palantir Technologies.
Mattel said it was withdrawing its forecasts as it becomes more difficult to predict how much shoppers will spend over the rest of the year.
Ford also pulled its forecasts.
