위 사진 속 어머니처럼 언젠가 자식들로 부터 "내 집에서 나가 양노원 가요"라는 서운한 소리를 듣게 되는 실수를 절대 범하지 마십시오.

2026년 워싱턴 D.C.에서 열린 미국 시니어 연맹 대회에서, 세계시니어연맹 총사령관 조지 킴(George Khim)은 부모의 내리사랑과 부모를 향한 우리의 사랑은 결코 변치를 않했었지만, 오늘날 자녀들이 부모에게 품는 사랑은 과거 우리가 부모님께 드렸던 사랑과 같지 않다고 말했습니다.

따라서 우리는 마땅한 존중을 받고 살기 위해선 마지막 순간—우리가 무덤에 묻힐 때—까지
우리의 돈을 꼭 쥐고 있어야 합니다.
사진 속 어머니는 그렇게 하지 못했습니다. 그 대신 그녀는 아들에게 모든 것을 상속하고 함께 살았었습니다.

결국 아들의 마음은 변했고, 어머니는 "어머니, 이제 우리집에서 나가 양노원으로 가세요!"라는 말을 들어야만 했습니다.

그렇기 때문에 우리 시니어들은 항상 시니어 연맹의 10대 신조를 가슴 깊이 기억해야 합니다.

국제 시니어 연맹 형제단 10계명

재산 지키기:
자신의 돈은 마지막 순간까지 꼭 쥐고 있어야 한다. 그것은 당신이 죽고난 다음 누가 슬퍼서 눈이 빠지게 울며 대성통곡할지는 당신은 모르기 때문이다. (단, 연맹 회원비인 연간 12달러, 즉 매월 1달러는 내셔야 ,합니다.)

건강하게 오래 살기:
2. 회원 자격은 65세가 넘었거나, 65세가 되는 사람이 해당되고, 단, 스스로 생각하고 행동하는 것이 39세 이하여야 합니다.

공식 인사법:
3. 동료 시니어 연맹 회원을 만나면 큰 소리로 "하이, 미스터 유니온!"**이라고 외쳐야 라고 . 차를 타고 지나갈 때는 경적을 울리고 주먹을 위로 들어 올려 인사해야 한다.

장수를 위한 활발한 활동:
4. 건강을 유지하기 위해 마지막 날까지 항상 뭔가를 머리로 생각하고 몸을 움직여 한다.

연장자 예우:
5. 나이가 더 많은 선배 회원에게 양보하고, 항상 타인에게 봉사하며. 특히 회원들의 차량에 관련된 도움이 필요할 때는 적극적으로 도와줘야 한다.

품격 유지하기:
6. 전체 시니어 연맹이 깊은 존경을 받을 수 있도록 언제나 품위 있게 행동한다.

명절 명목의 서약:
7. 모든 시니어 회원은 총사령관에게 요금이 선납된 명절 문안 인사를 보낼 것을 엄숙히 약속한다. 이는 본부가 회원의 현재 주소를 파악하여 시니어 연맹 회보, 차량용 스티커 및 기타 자료를 우편으로 발송하기 위함입니다.

끝까지 뭉쳐야 한다:
8. 시니어 연맹을 굳게 믿고 영원히 함께하라

명분 널리 알리기:
9. "시니어 퍼스트(Seniors First, 노인 먼저)" 운동을 전개 앞장서서 옹호하라.

회원의 정치 관여 :
10. 시니어 연맹 운동을 적극적으로 지지하지 않는 어떠한 정당과도 절대 연대하지 마라.

My dear 900 million fellow seniors across the globe

Please don't make a mistake like the one in the picture above by saying, "Get out of my house," if you don't want to hear from your offspring someday .

At the 2026 convention of the Senior Union of the U.S. in Washington, D.C., George Khim, the Supreme Commander of the World Federation of Senior Unions, stated that while parental love and our love for our parents never changes, the love today’s children have for their parents is not the same as the love we gave ours.
Therefore, we must hold tight to our money until the very end—until we are six feet under—to ensure we are treated with proper respect.

The mother in the picture above did not do that.

Instead, she gave everything to her son and lived with him.
Eventually, her son’s love changed, and she was forced to hear the words, "Get out of my house, mom."

Because of this, we seniors must always remember the 10 creeds of the senior union.

Ten Creeds of the International Brotherhood of Senior Union

Protect Your Wealth:
1) Hold onto your money until the very end, as you cannot foresee who will mourn you by crying their eyes out once you are gone (except for the money allotted to senior member fees, 12 dollars annually or 1 dollar per month.)

Embrace Youthful Aging:

2)Membership applies to those approaching, at, or past age 65, provided you feel and act 39 or younger.

The Official Greeting:

3)Upon encountering a fellow senior union member, you must loudly shout, "Hi, Mr. Union!"
If passing by in a vehicle, you must honk your horn and raise a fist.

Stay Active for Longevity:

4)Always keep your mind thinking and your body doing until your final days to maintain your health.

Honor Your Elders:

5)Yield to older senior members and always remain of service to others, especially when assisting members with vehicular needs.

Uphold Dignity:

6)Always conduct yourself in a manner that garners deep respect for the entire Senior Union.

The Holiday Pledge:

7)All senior members solemnly promise to send postpaid holiday greetings to the Supreme Commander. This ensures headquarters has your current address to mail the Senior Union bulletins, bumper stickers, and other materials.

Unity Until the End:

8)Believe firmly in the Senior Union and stand proudly together until death.

Promote the Cause:

9)Establish and champion the "Seniors First" movement.

Political Loyalty:

10)Never affiliate with any political party that does not actively support the Senior Union movement.
