저의 시는 낯선 언어나 예술적 기교에 매몰되지 않으며, 예술성을 도구로 삼아 숭고한 영성과 삶을 변화시키는 힘을 추구합니다.예술적 기교는 난해하거나 화려한데 정신적, 정서적 울림은 거의 없는 시는 좋아하지 않습니다. 문학사에 빛나는 영미 시인들처럼 깊은 철학 사상을 지닌 시를 좋아합니다. 병든 현대 문명의 해결책을 모색한 T.S. Eliot 와 W.H. Auden 을 특히 좋아하지요.
