(욥24:1-25)
1 "Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?  2 Men move boundary stones; they pasture flocks they have stolen.  3 They drive away the orphan's donkey and take the widow's ox in pledge.  4 They thrust the needy from the path and force all the poor of the land into hiding.  5 Like wild donkeys in the desert, the poor go about their labor of foraging food; the wasteland provides food for their children.  6 They gather fodder in the fields and glean in the vineyards of the wicked.  7 Lacking clothes, they spend the night naked; they have nothing to cover themselves in the cold.  8 They are drenched by mountain rains and hug the rocks for lack of shelter.  9 The fatherless child is snatched from the breast; the infant of the poor is seized for a debt.  10 Lacking clothes, they go about naked; they carry the sheaves, but still go hungry.  11 They crush olives among the terraces; they tread the winepresses, yet suffer thirst.  12 The groans of the dying rise from the city, and the souls of the wounded cry out for help. But God charges no one with wrongdoing.  13 "There are those who rebel against the light, who do not know its ways or stay in its paths.  14 When daylight is gone, the murderer rises up and kills the poor and needy; in the night he steals forth like a thief.  15 The eye of the adulterer watches for dusk; he thinks, 'No eye will see me,' and he keeps his face concealed.  16 In the dark, men break into houses, but by day they shut themselves in; they want nothing to do with the light.  17 For all of them, deep darkness is their morning; they make friends with the terrors of darkness.  18 "Yet they are foam on the surface of the water; their portion of the land is cursed, so that no one goes to the vineyards.  19 As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow, so the grave snatches away those who have sinned.  20 The womb forgets them, the worm feasts on them; evil men are no longer remembered but are broken like a tree.  21 They prey on the barren and childless woman, and to the widow show no kindness.  22 But God drags away the mighty by his power; though they become established, they have no assurance of life.  23 He may let them rest in a feeling of security, but his eyes are on their ways.  24 For a little while they are exalted, and then they are gone; they are brought low and gathered up like all others; they are cut off like heads of grain.  25 "If this is not so, who can prove me false and reduce my words to nothing?"

자신에게 들이닥친 현실을 보니
친구들 조차...

세상의 돌아가는 모든 형세가 약육강식(弱肉强食)
그럼에도 불구하고 세월을 이기지 못하고 
그 이룸이 허무(虛無)

죽음으로 땅의 모든 것은 끝이 나는데...
그리고 아무도 기억하지 못하는 
기억해 주는 이 없는 ...본래 없었던 존재처럼 환원되는 것이 인생...

세월이 벌써 5년이라는 세월이 흘렀고

그렇다면 4024년이 흐른 지금 욥의 이름은 내가 ...그리고 모든 기독인들의 기억속에 있는데... 바쁜 일상에 내 어머니에 대한 기억은...

깨닫고 나니
인생의 모습은 하루살이 매미와 비교할 수 있으려나...
당장만을 생각하고 살아가는 인생들의 모습이려니...

아무것도 아닌 것을 가지고
황순원의 무지개라는 소설에 등장하는 기왓장을 무지개라고 좋아라 하는 사람들처럼...
그런 가련한 인생들을 보니...

만일 내세(來世)가 없다면
땅에서의 나의 삶은 무슨 의미-가치-보람을 갖고 살까?
생각하면 생각할수록 끔찍한 마음이 든다

목사로의 부름받았음에 감사
교우들을 천국까지 잘 도달 할 수 있도록 하는 주님의 도통매역할(道通媒役割)을 잘 해야 하겠는데...하는 생각을 하는 나는 참 복(福)받은 존재(存在)라는 생각을 한다

하나님!
영광 받아주옵소서
성령님... 도와주소서 인도하소서  주여!
