1. 6·3 지방선거 전 마지막 주말인 오늘, 여야는 유세 총력전을 벌였습니다.

   더불어민주당은 전남과 충청을 돌며 여당 프리미엄을 호소했고, 국민의힘당은 서울에 화력을 집중했습니다.

   Today, the last weekend before the June 3 local elections, the ruling and opposition parties staged an all-out campaign.

   The Democratic Party of Korea appealed for a ruling party premium while traveling around South Jeolla Province and Chungcheong Province, and the People's Power Party focused its firepower on Seoul.

2. 오늘(31일) 오후 3시쯤, 부산 해운대구 롯데백화점 센텀시티점 지하 1층 식품관에서 천장 일부가 무너지는 사고가 났습니다.

   이 사고로 인명피해는 없었지만, 매장에 있던 고객과 직원 등 100여 명이 대피했습니다.

   At around 3 p.m. today (31st), a part of the ceiling collapsed at the food hall on the basement floor of Lotte Department Store Centum City Branch in Haeundae-gu, Busan.

   There were no casualties in the accident, but more than 100 people, including customers and employees in the store, were evacuated.

3. 서울 서소문 고가차도 붕괴 사고에 앞서 이미 여 러차례 위험을 알리는 '경고'가 있었던 것으로 확인됐습니다.

   철거 설계와 시공 단계에서 지지대가 필요하다는 지적이 있었지만 보강되지 않았고 결국 사고로 이어졌습니다.

   Prior to the collapse of an overpass in Seosomun, Seoul, it has been confirmed that there have already been several ‘warnings’ signaling the danger.

   It was pointed out that support was needed during the demolition design and construction phase, but it was not reinforced and eventually led to an accident.

4. 미국과 이란의 종전 협상이 또다시 난항을 겪고 있습니다.

   To discuss nuclear-powered submarines and nuclear cooperation, which were agreed upon by the Korea-U.S. summit last year, the first meeting will be held in Seoul this week.
