[眞如華]

    5. 게송으로 거듭 설하다

 (1) 화택의 상황

        佛      欲重宣此義      而說偈言

   譬如長者      有一大宅      其宅久故      而復頓弊

 부처님께서 이 뜻을 거듭 펴려고 게송으로 말씀하셨습니다.

    “비유컨대 어떤 장자가 큰 저택을 가졌는데

    그 집이 오래되어 낡고 또 퇴락하였느니라.

  The Buddha, wishing to state his meaning once more, spoke   in verse form, saying:

    Suppose there was a rich man

    who had a large house

    This house was very old,

    and decayed and dilapidated as well.

        The Buddha; 부처님께서

        wishing to state his meaning; 이 뜻을 펴려고

        once more; 거듭

        spoke in a verse form; 게송으로 말씀하셨습니다

        Suppose there was a rich man; 비유컨대 어떤 장자가

        who had a large house; 큰 저택을 가졌는데

        This house was very old; 그 집이 오래되어

        decayed and dilapidated as well; 낡고 또 퇴락하였느니라
