be not good at    -을 잘 못하다.

영어는 쉬운 말로 하는 법. be good at은 < - 을 잘 하다> (be sillful at doing something)란 뜻으로 여기서 good은 <유능한> (skillful)이라는 의미. 부정형 be not good at은 당연히 <-을 잘 못하다.>, <-에 서투르다> 라는 표현이다. 예를 들어 <난 숫자에 약해> 라고 하려면 I am not good at numbers라 하면 된다. 비슷한 표현으로는 be bad(poor) at이 있으며 서투른 정도가 가히 상종 못할 경지에 이르렀다면

be terrible about을 이용하면 된다.

-be not good at english ( computers) 영어(컴퓨터)를 잘 못한다.

1. I am not good at meeting deadlines, but I do my best.

*마감 시한을 맞추다 : meet the deadline, 최선을 다하다. : do one's best

2. they're not good at explaining proposals to potential clients.

*잠재적인 고객, 앞으로 고객이 될 수도 있는 사람 : potential client

w : what did your teacher tell you in school today?

m : she said i'm not good at following directions

w : maybe you should listen to her and pay more attention.
