Joseph’s Bartizan(Genesis 37:1~11)
When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?” His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind(10~11)
Hymn #490 There’s a Dream That I Dream(Unified Hymn 542)
The Remnants must always remember Joseph’s bartizan. It may seem that Joseph overcame his hardships, but that wasn’t actually the case. He possessed a different strength that had nothing to do with his hardships. From a young age, he had the power of prayer and the vision of world evangelization(Genesis 37:1~11). So whether he faced the hardship of becoming a slave(Genesis 39:1~6) or achieved the success of standing before the king(Genesis 41:1~38), he possessed a strength that wasn’t affected by either crrcurnstance.
1. Genesis 32:23~32
Joseph knew the covenant his father Jacob held, and he also knew well what kind of person Jacob was. His mother Rachel was a very ambitious person. In particular, because Joseph grew up in a complicated family environment, he inevitably experienced conflict within his family.
2. Genesis 35:1~29
One day, his younger brother Benjamin was born. Joseph’s suffering began when his mother Rachel died while giving birth to Benjamin. He lost his mother at a time when he needed her love the most. However, this became a remarkable beginning and answer for Joseph.
3. Genesis 37:1~11
From this point on, Joseph began to establish the bartizan of prayer, walk the journey of prayer, and set up the guideposts of prayer. For the Remnants, neither answers nor hardships are what matter most. What matters is the fulfillment of God’s covenant and plan. Joseph prayed to the point that CVDIP appeared in his dreams. When he shared this, Jacob kept it in his heart. If the Remnants, like Joseph, can connect in prayer with their parents and the servants of the Lord, they can succeed.
If the Remnants are as certain of the covenant as Joseph was, everything that follows will lead to answers. Even if they become slaves or are sent to prison, everything will turn into an answer. Therefore, the Remnants must carefully organize the messages they receive through prayer, worship, and training, and firmly hold on to them.

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, I thank You for giving me the blessed time. May Your Word be imprinted in me. May Your Word become my bartizan. May the remaining time schedule become my journey and may all that I have become my guideposts. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
