  금년에는 미 의회에서 주커버그를 청문회장에 세울 만큼 정치권에서 이 문제를 주시하고 있다.
  주된 문제는 개인 정보의 침해, 미국내 사회적 갈등을 부추기는 악의적 오보와 가짜뉴스인데,
  이와 같은 것들은 다른 나라(예; 중국, 러시아)에서 미국을 공격하기위한 수단으로 악용되고 있다.
  미국의 소셜미디어가 다른 국가들에의해 악의적으로 이용되는 것을 이제는 규제해야 할 때라고
  정치권에서 나서고 있다.
