< The Fox and the Crane >

1막

Chapter 1. 

숲속

숲속에서 당근을 캐고 있는 토끼를 잡기 위해 여우가 나무 뒤에
숨어서 몰래 훔쳐보고 있었습니다.

A fox hid the bush and watched a rabbit which was digging out carrots secretly to catch it.  

여우: 흐흐흐 토끼가 토실 토실 맛있게 생겼군~

Fox : haha...it looks very chubby and tasty. 

여우가 조심 조심 토끼에게 다가 갔습니다.

The fox approached it very carefully.

​그 순간

갑자기 두루미가 날개를 "푸드덕! 푸드덕!" 거리며 나타났습니다.

Suddenly a crane emerged ,beating the wings.  

두루미 날개 짓에 놀란 토끼는 깡총 깡총 급히 도망갔습니다.
여우와 두루미 둘만 마주 보게 되었습니다.

The rabbit which was surprised by it ran away.

The fox and the crane confronted each other. 

두루미: 아이쿠! 여우야 토끼 사냥에 실패했구나

Crane : Oh my... hey fox.. you failed it.  

여우: 험! 험! 아니 토끼가 아니고 당근 수프 요리하러 당근 캐러 왔어.

안바쁘면 당근 스프 먹고 갈래?

Fox : no..no...i am here to dig out carrots not catch a rabbit.

Because I was planning to make carrot soup.

would you like to come and try my carrot soup?

두루미: 좋지~~ 너네 집이 어디야?

Crane : yes. that sounds great. where do you live?

여우: 따라와~

Fox : Follow me. 

2막

Chapter 2 

여우의 집

Fox's home

여우와 두루미는 스프를 먹기위해 식탁에 앉았습니다.
여우는 접시에 스프를 가지고 나왔습니다.

The fox and the crane sat to eat soup.

The fox brought a dish for the crane. 

여우: 자~ 당근 스프 대령이요!~ 맛있게 먹어!~

두루미: 고마워 잘 먹을께.

Fox : Here it is. Help yourself.

Crane : Thank you.

두루미: "툭!: 툭!"  

( hit hit) 

두루미: 뾰족한 부리 때문에 먹기가 불편하네.
여우야 다른 그릇없어? 부리때문에 먹기가 불편해.

Crane : It's hard to eat due to my sharp beak.

Hey, do you have another plate?

여우: 저런 저런 어쩌나? 우리집엔 이 접시 밖에 없어서...

Fox : I am sorry but I have only this.  

여우: (스~윽) 음식을 남길 순 없으니 그럼 네 것도 내가 냠!냠!

well... then you can't eat this so I will finish this too. 

두루미는 여우의 행동에 화가났지만 참았습니다.

The Crane was very upset because of the fox but the crane endured it. 

두루미: 이렇게 초대 해줘서 고마운데 내일 아침 식사는
        우리집에서 함께 해!~ 초대할께.

Crane : well.. Thank you for inviting me.

I will invite you to come to my house tomorrow morning. 

여우: 어우! 정말? 고마워 내일 일찍 만나!
두루미: 그래~

Fox : Thank you. See you tomorrow.

Crane : ok. Bye

3막

Chapter 3.  

두루미의 집

Crane's house

다음 날이 되어 여우는 두루미 집에 초대 되었고
두루미와 여우는 스프를 먹기위해 식탁에 함께 앉았습니다.

Next day, the fox was invited and they sat together. 

두루미: 자~ 버섯 스프 대령이요!~ 맛있게 먹어!~

Crane : Here is the mushroom soup. Help yourself. 

여우: 고마워 잘 먹을께."앙! 악! 낼름 낼름"

Fox : Thank you. (sticking out his tongue) 

여우: 두루미야 난 길쭉한 부리가 없어서 병에 담긴 음식을 먹기가
      불편한데 접시없어?

Fox : Hey.. It's hard to eat this because I don't have a beak like you.

Is there another plate? 

두루미: 저런 저런 어쩌나? 우리집엔 이병 밖에 없어서......

Crane : well. well.. I am sorry but this is all I have. (drinking) 

두루미: 후루룩! 후루룩!"

Crane : (drinking) 

여우는 화가 났습니다. 하지만 어제 똑같이 했던 일이 생각나 참았습니다.

The fox was upset but he couldn't do anything because he did the same thing to the crane. 

여우:그럼 이 병에든 음식 가지고 갈께. 내일 한번 더 우리 집에
     초대 할테니 오지 않을래?

Fox : well... I'll take this bottle and you need to come to my house again. 

두루미: 또 초대하는 거야? 고마워!~
여우: 그럼 내일 일찍 만나!
두루미: 그래~

Crane : so you invite me again? Thank you.

Fox : yes. See you tomorrow.

Crane : ok. bye

4막

Chapter 4.

여우의 집

Fox's house

아침이 되어 두루미는 여우의 집에 초대 되었고
두루미와 여우는 스프를 먹기위해 식탁에 함께 앉았습니다.

The crane was invited in this morning, they sat together to eat soup again. 

두루미:와!~ 난 또 접시에 스프를 내 놓을줄 알았는데
       어제 가져간 병에 담았구나.

Crane : wow.. I thought you put the same dish but you brought the bottle taken yesterday. 

여우:사실 어제 화가 났지만 네 부리는 접시에는 불편하니
     병을 가져 온거야. 스프 맛은 어때?

Fox : Yes... Actually, I was upset yesterday but I saw you eating barely so I brought this bottle. How's soup? 

두루미: 와아~ 이거 내가 좋아하는 개구리 스프구나 맛이 정말 좋은데?

Crane : Oh my god. this is frog soup which I like the most.  

이렇게 둘은 따듯한 스프맛으로 화해가 되었고 서로 초대 할때가
되면 서로 다른 그릇으로 식사를 하게 되었습니다.

It tastes great. So these two were good again and whenever they invite each other, they serve different dishes.
