20250405 Prayer Vigil for the Community 기도회

4월 5일 토요일 오전 열 시부터 오후 열두 시까지 지역사회를 위한 기도회가 하나님의성회교회에서 열렸다.

당 교회 담임목사 외 1인의 공동주최.

약물중독, 자살, 지역사회 치안 등을 위해 기도하자는 것.

병원 측에서 자살에 관하여, 교정국 측에서 약물의 종류에 관한 보고가 있었고 그를 위해 기도했다.

기타 지역 경찰, 인신매매에 대한 얘기와 기도도 나눠졌다.

현지에서 나타나는 이런 문제들을 어떻게 예방할 것인지, 어떻게 대처할 것인지(에 대해서는 대체로 그러지 못하는 현실 토로.)에 대한 홍보 및 경각 기도회였다.

방과후학교 사역을 통하여 이런 일을 예방은 물론 장래 지도자를 길러내자는 우리의 시도가 건축부지 문제로 지지부진을 넘어 거의 폐기상태에 이른 상태에서 씁쓸함을 지울 수 없다.

또한 이런 만사가 미비하고 어려운 형편에 처하여 이 기도회로 상징되는 신앙공동체들이 행동으로 추구해야 할 일들도 또한 큰 도전이 아닐 수 없다.

주여! 우리에게 길을 아는 지혜와 행동하는 용기와 먼 길을 버틸 수 있는 끈기를 주시옵소서.

On Saturday, April 5, 10am to 12pm, a community prayer meeting was held at the Assembly of God Church.

Co-hosted by the senior pastor of the church and one more pastor.

Praying for drug addiction, suicide, community security, and etc.

Reports were presented, one by the hospital personnel about suicide, and the other about drugs by the a person from the Department of Corrections and prayers were offered for.

There were also discussions and prayers about local police and human trafficking.

It was a publicity and alert prayer meeting about how to prevent and deal with these problems that are occurring locally (the sad reality is that there is not much of such has been done.).

It is bitter to see that our attempt to prevent these problems and train future leaders through after-school ministry has been delayed and almost abandoned due to the construction site issue.

Also, in this situation where everything is insufficient and difficult, the things that the religious communities symbolized by this prayer meeting must pursue through action is also a great challenge.

Lord, give us the wisdom to know what to do, the courage to begin, and the tenacity to endure for a long journey.
