[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 잠언 20장 1. 포도주는 조롱하게 하는 것이요, 독주는 날뛰게 하는 것이라. 누구든지 그것들로 말미암아    속는 자는 지혜롭지 아니하니라.Wine [is] a mocker, strong drink [is] raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.2. 왕의 두려움은 사자의 울부짖음 같으니 누구든지 그의 분노를 일으키는 자는 자기 혼을    대적하여 죄를 짓느니라.The fear of a king [is] as the roaring of a lion: [whoso] provoketh him to anger sinneth [against] his own soul.3. 사람이 다툼을 그치는 것이 존귀가 되거늘 어리석은 자는 다 참견하고자 하느니라.[It is] an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.4. 게으른 자는 춥다고 밭을 갈지 아니하리니 그러므로 그가 수확 때에 구걸할지라도 아무것도    얻지 못하리라.The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; [therefore] shall he beg in harvest, and [have] nothing. 5. 사람의 마음에 있는 계략은 깊은 물 같거니와 명철한 자는 그것을 길어 내리로다.Counsel in the heart of man [is like] deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.6. 대부분의 사람들이 저마다 자기의 선함을 외치려니와 누가 신실한 사람을 찾을 수    있으리요?Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? 7. 의로운 자는 자기의 순전함 가운데 걷나니 그의 자녀들이 그를 따라 복을 받느니라.The just [man] walketh in his integrity: his children [are] blessed after him.8. 심판의 왕좌에 앉은 왕은 자기 눈으로 모든 악을 흩어지게 하느니라.A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.9. 누가 이르기를, 내 마음을 깨끗하게 하였으니 내가 죄에서 떠나 순결하다, 할 수 있겠느냐?Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?10. 서로 다른 추와 서로 다른 되는 둘 다 {주}께 똑같이 가증한 것이니라.Divers weights, [and] divers measures, both of them [are] alike abomination to the LORD. 11. 심지어 아이의 경우에도 그가 행한 것으로 그가 한 일이 순수한지 옳은지 알 수 있느니라.Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work [be] pure, and whether [it be] right.12. {주}께서 듣는 귀와 보는 눈 그 둘을 다 지으셨느니라.The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.13. 잠을 사랑하지 말라. 네가 가난하게 될까 염려하노라. 네 눈을 뜨라. 그리하면 네가 빵으로       만족하리라.Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, [and] thou shalt be satisfied with bread.14. 사는 자가, 형편없다. 형편없다, 해도 자기 길로 가서는 자랑하느니라.[It is] naught, [it is] naught, saith the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth.15. 금도 있고 루비도 많거니와 지식의 입술은 귀중한 보석이니라.There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge [are] a precious jewel.16. 낯선 자를 위해 보증을 선 자의 옷을 취하고 낯선 여자를 위해 보증을 선 자에게서 담보물을      취하라.Take his garment that is surety [for] a stranger: and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.17. 속여서 얻은 빵이 사람에게 달지만 나중에는 그의 입이 자갈로 가득하리라.Bread of deceit [is] sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel. 18. 모든 목적한 바가 의논함으로 굳게 세워지나니 좋은 충고를 가지고 전쟁할지니라.[Every] purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.19. 소문을 퍼뜨리는 자처럼 두루 다니는 자는 은밀한 일들을 드러내나니 그런즉 입술로      아첨하는 자와 상관하지 말지니라.He that goeth about [as] a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips. 20. 누구든지 자기 아버지나 어머니를 저주하면 그 사람의 등불은 깜깜한 어둠 속에서      꺼지리라.Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness. 21. 처음에 서둘러서 상속 재산을 받을 수 있으나 그것의 끝은 복되지 아니하리로다.An inheritance [may be] gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.22. 너는 말하기를, 내가 악을 갚겠다, 하지 말고 오직 {주}를 바라라. 그분께서 너를      구원하시리라.Say not thou, I will recompense evil; [but] wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.23. 서로 다른 추는 {주}께 가증한 것이요, 거짓된 저울은 좋지 못한 것이니라.Divers weights [are] an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance [is] not good. 24. 사람이 가는 것은 {주}께로 말미암나니 사람이 어찌 자기 길을 깨달을 수 있으리요?Mans goings [are] of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?25. 거룩한 것을 삼키는 자에게는 서원을 한 뒤에 물어보는 것이 올무가 되느니라.[It is] a snare to the man [who] devoureth [that which is] holy, and after vows to make enquiry.26. 지혜로운 왕은 사악한 자들을 흩으며 그들 위로 바퀴를 가져오느니라.A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them.27. 사람의 영은 {주}의 등잔불로서 배 속의 모든 부분을 살피느니라.The spirit of man [is] the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. 28. 긍휼과 진리가 왕을 보존하며 그의 왕좌는 긍휼로 떠받쳐지느니라.Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.29. 젊은 자들의 영광은 그들의 힘이요, 늙은 자들의 아름다움은 흰머리니라.The glory of young men [is] their strength: and the beauty of old men [is] the gray head.30. 파랗게 멍든 상처는 악을 깨끗이 없애나니 이와 같이 채찍도 배 속의 여러 부분을 깨끗하게      하느니라.The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so [do] stripes the inward parts of the belly.
