장릉의 서늘한 바람

근평 이정문

장릉의 서늘한 바람에

단종대왕 뵈올까

가파른 계단을 오른다

허덕이는 숨결이 돌계단에 스며들고

솔잎 스치는 가을바람 속

흐느끼는 옛이야기

펴보지 못한 임금의 꿈

가슴으로 스며든다

덧없이 흘러간 세월

맑은 하늘엔 냉기 서리고

차디찬 비석엔 그 아픔

이끼로 덮여 잠들었네

무덤가를 맴도는 아득한 공기

나도 따라 서글픔이 고인다

고요한 평화 솔바람으로 번져가고

가을 햇살 아래 허리 굽은 소나무 숲

옛 서러움 속삭이는 그 소리에

죽음을 대신한 단종의 한

이제야 씻겨 내릴까

Cool Wind At Jangneung

I climb the steep stone steps of Jangneung,

hoping the cool wind will carry

the memories of King Danjong.

My breath sinks into the ancient stairs.

The autumn wind brushes through the pine trees.

Old tales of profound sorrow,

a king's unfulfilled dreams,

seep quietly into my heart.

The years have slipped away—

a chill lingers beneath the clear sky,

while grief lies in deep repose

upon the cold, moss-covered tombstone.

The ancient aura that lingers over the royal tomb

stirs sorrow within me as well.

The tranquil wind spreads among the pines.

A stand of pine trees bends gently

beneath the autumn sunlight.

Could this whispering wind

wash away the ancient sadness

King Danjong left behind in death?
