1. What is the contents of the text?

-1.Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt

-offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
-2.And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD's house.
-3.And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they

-bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD,

-saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
-4.Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.
-5.And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand

-sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
-6.And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David

-the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their

-ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
-7.Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he

-offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made

-was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.
-8.Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation,

-from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.
-9.And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and

-the feast seven days.
-10.And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and

-merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
-11.Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart

-to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
-12.And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen

-this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
-13.If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence

-among my people;
-14.If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn

-from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
-15.Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
-16.For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and

-mine heart shall be there perpetually.

-17.And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have

-commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;
-18.Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying,

-There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.
-19.But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall

-go and serve other gods, and worship them;
-20.Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have

-sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.
-21.And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say,

-Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
-22.And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out

-of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he

-brought all this evil upon them.

당신의 백성 중에 거하시는 주님, 모든 것은 내 할 탓 인 것 같습니다.

특별히 살다가 어려움이 닥치면 악한 길에서 떠나라고 하셨는데

주님, 내 **을 용서해 주옵소서. 아무리 좋은 세상이라지만 1회용이며

찰라 인 것을 깨닫습니다. 그러므로 세월을 아끼며 살겠나이다. 매번

주일을 기다려 봐도 여전히 허전하고, 만족이 없는 것은 참 안식이

이미 와 아직 가운데 걸려있기 때문인 것을 고백하나이다.

예주와 에스더를 끝까지 잘 키울 수 있도록 지혜를 가르쳐 주옵소서.

두 딸이 학부를 하는 동안 ‘사고하는 젊은이’로 경쟁력 있는 아이가 되게

하시고, 하나님과 이웃에게 칭찬받는 청소년이 되게 하소서. 연애에

있어 사람을 진실하고 거침이 없이 사랑하게 하옵소서. 바라기는

사회를 날카롭게 보는 안목과 늘 도전하되 책임 있는 지성인이 되게 하소서.

아내의 노년을 외롭지 않게 지켜주시고 건강과 물질을 채워주소서.

신대원을 준비하는 작은댁 식구들이 기도로 무장하게 하시고 적절히 필요를

채워주옵소서. 주용, 주희가 부모의 사랑과 칭찬 가운데 경쟁력 있는 성인으로

자라게 하옵소서. 어머니와 희정이를 살펴주시고 집 문제가 원활이 해결되게

하신 것을 감사하나이다. 명옥이 누이가 잠잠하게 하신 것도 주의 은혜이나이다.

꿈속에서 아버지를 보게 하신 것을 감사합니다. 이웃의 필요를 듣게 하시고

물질의 섬김까지 나아가도록 도와주옵소서. 어머니의 노년을 지켜주셔서 주님을

붙잡게 하시고 자녀들이 기쁨이 되게 하옵소서. 큰누나와 명희를 신앙으로

묶어주시고 남편들을 잘 섬겨서 위기 때마다 슬기롭게 빠져나가게 하신 것을

감사하나이다. 장민의 학업과 알바가운데 지치지 않게 하시며, 하랑 하은,

예담 사랑이를 준수하게 자라게 하신 것은 주의 은혜입니다. 장준의 스포츠

센터 프로젝트가 진전이 있게 하옵소서. 김 씨 가문에 보내신 용규, 소형, 정섭과

옥실이를 가족처럼 섬기며 사랑하게 하소서. 송, 수민, 진에게도 동일한 은혜로
