Let me talk about something I haven't usually discussed. It is the investigative powers of the prosecution.
How do you think I view the prosecution? My criminal record is for defamation, and I have been officially punished three times.
The first time, I was sued and even ordered to pay damages by the side that put forward the theory of permanent division.
I cannot go into detail. I was subjected to countless attacks—almost to the point of plastering dozens of pages—by supporters of that group who accused me of being a Pyongyang spy, even going so far as to bring up female genitalia. Even though I endured this for months, I did not retaliate a single time. The reason was only one, or perhaps two: someone of faith once said that people of faith do not file lawsuits. That very night, I touched the shoulder of my fourth-grade daughter, who was sleeping next to me, and it felt as hard as a stone. As someone on the verge of madness from writing endlessly every day and, at the same time, drafting documents for legal action, I reacted to my daughter's attempt to speak to me by screaming in a fit of rage... Realizing the stone-like state of her shoulders, I removed the lawsuit from my life the very next day. Consequently, the court accepted the hug rumors spread by that side as they were—and I am writing this for the first time—and at that moment, one crucial thing I realized was,
It was a realization that proving an act one did not commit is truly difficult. I don't know if you will understand. It is almost impossible to prove that I did not do such a thing. Yet, modern criminal law requires that of the person accused of a crime. Even though I neither hugged that person nor attempted to hug him, there was no way to prove in court that I did not do it. Regarding the insults inflicted upon me in front of countless people at a rally, with my daughter right beside me, no one stepped forward to stand on my side unless I found a witness. Furthermore, even though it was my first time there at the time, no one stepped forward for me. My bizarre ordeal—being unable to even file a complaint amidst such desperate solitude—continued for over a decade. Of course, I could not provide the pretext. Because I considered that person to be a great patriot, I went to his home and made remarks that seemed to indicate I was willing to discuss current affairs further; however, they framed me as a Pyongyang spy for this. Looking back now, I realize just how truly naive I was. It’s not like I said I was going alone, but they drove me into that situation...
Back then, I was living consumed by a desperate sense of duty that I had to save South Korea from communization and that I was the one carrying out that mission, so well, I’m pretty much the same now as I was then in being out of my mind. As I write this, it’s funny. Me, really. I was a ridiculous person.
I often ask my daughter, "Am I crazy?" Her answer is simple and clear: "Yes. You are crazy."
Yes, you are currently reading the ramblings of a lunatic.
My pneumonia symptoms have persisted for over a month, making it difficult to move. My chest still aches slightly every time I cough.
I was even sued in civil court at the time, and I think I paid them 350 [dollars]. I don't remember where the money came from—whether it was because the villa not effected selling one I moved from Bucheon , which I had put up for sale, was sold, or because many of you contributed at the time—it seems likely that it came from that side. So I paid it back,
and soon after, in 2007, I was arrested and extradited to Jinju.
At the time, the prosecution, in collusion with a broadcasting station, made a fuss claiming that I had written for six months in exchange for 36 million won as a resident of Pohang asking me to criticize Ms. Park. The amount was so outrageous that I looked into it and found that they had compressed the donations received over three years and nine months—since I started writing— turned into a six-month summary.
I was probably the person who received the most abuse at Dong-A Sibaldae and Chosun Madang.
The court ruling was a spectacle. They said that although I had written the facts, I had written them too viciously. I went all the way to Daegu to appeal, but I received a suspended sentence, and I am grateful for that at least.
In 2012, I went on the run(escape) with my daughter; this was a feat made possible because she happened to drop out of middle school.
A year ago, in a dream, a skeleton parked a Cadillac hearse in front of me, opened the door, and told me to get in.
What could that dream possibly mean? So I ran away. Because I didn't want to die.
After running away for four months, I heard in another dream that I had been forgiven and should return. I resisted for another week, but when I finally came back home,
Tosca had sent the cats I had been raising to an animal shelter. I returned with only one Siamese cat from that veterinary clinic—one that had waited solely for me without anyone else touching it. When the cat recognized my voice, it began shedding huge tears, drop by drop. It is now the oldest of the group, at 16 years old.
Because Tuscan and Eelon like lying, I didn't even know there was a cat who was holding out and refusing to go until I called the hospital.
Reporters wrote about me in the old newspaper. Next to my photo, they wrote, "He is so clueless." My face itself is indeed clueless.
My daughter told me that the reason I survived between those two villainesses was because I was clueless.
I suppose it is because I am clueless that I am diligently writing this nonsensical stuff, without even realizing how embarrassing it is.
Before the war with Iran, there was something Trump talked about every single day. He said he wanted to go to heaven. He wanted to go to heaven, but he didn't know if he was qualified to go.
Since then, whenever I write a letter to President Trump, I always add "Saint." He had already reached the level of a saint.
And for Melania, I add "Holy." Because both of them are saints and holy.
No matter how much the public rants about Epstein and all that, I speak from my own perspective. Those two people are holy and saintly.
I think I can understand, with tears, what it must feel like to say, "I want to go to heaven," openly in front of reporters who love to mock such words. One cannot utter such words without being saintly. "I want to go to heaven."
My lifelong wishes were, first, to be dutiful to Maya, and second, to go to Heaven.
However, a few months ago, those wishes changed. Since the first wish was shattered after watching the US presidential election and I was freed from those long shackles anyway,
I have put an end to that second wish—that fifty-year-old wish to go to Heaven, to say, "I want to go to Heaven, I will go to Heaven."
Both my wish and my daughter's wish is to beat those hordes of Satan and demons to death, even if it means bowing down in hell, and to completely cleanse this Earth.
That is my wish. Heaven? It has become meaningless to me. Whether I go or not, my only wish is to eliminate those swarms of snakes, the task of this earth.
To get rid of them all is my only wish. How could I ever forget the big eyes of the young girl, Lin, filled with astonishment as she slid down the steps of the passenger plane dragged to Mars with both hands raised high? The snakes waiting above the sea to catch the passengers falling from high altitudes, and the photos of that giant snake—whether it was the mother or the giant snake—floating in the air that reporters put up as advertisements—over the black sea of Hokkaido—how could I ever forget that?
Our scientists who self-destructed at Chernobyl—how could I forget? If I forget, I am not human.
And the Sewol Ferry—I promised the children of the Sewol Ferry at that time. I promised that I would find out exactly what happened and avenge your grievances.
I will never forget.
What were you trying to say that brought you all the way to this strange valley? Ah, right, the investigative authority of the prosecution.
The important thing is that at every one of my trials, the judges never said that I had lied. Since I found, printed, and submitted all 150 or so documents and interrogation materials, what those judges said was, "It is true, but it is too vicious," and "You viciously had escaped."
So, if anyone were to harbor hatred toward the prosecution because of that history, I would be the most likely candidate. But I don't. I don't have any hatred toward the prosecution.
My daughter said something significant to me seven or eight years ago.
At a time when I realized that Korea had been completely taken over (by Japan), I asked, "Then who has protected our legitimacy and our spirit of this country?"
My daughter gave me an unexpected answer. She said the prosecution must have done it. My daughter confimed as there was no one else but the prosecution organization had kepted our People's Holy Way.
Therefore, I felt the need to explain what this government’s plan is to abolish even the supplementary investigative authority of the prosecution.
Living in this country, where the prosecution stages a fabrication—falsifying the total amount of money received over three years and nine months into a massive sum received over a mere six months to myself—I do not hate the prosecution. Even if it means colluding to some extent with the forces controlling Korea in that way,
the fundamental spirit of this country, which they have desperately tried to protect and have protected, is now crumbling away.
That is why I am moved to tears. We are the holy Gitai people. The Gitai people, we are Aryans, we are Hongik Ingan,
a people not made of clay, but made of the Creator’s ivory—we are a holy people.
I pray that Heaven will open a way.
