한창나이에 교만함은 天敗(천패) 만나게 되며 絶地(절지)에 서게된다.

  Arrogance in the prime of one′s youth leads to encountering heavenly ruin(天敗,천패)

  and standing upon a desperate percipice(絶地,절지).

비록 힘들여서 우물물을 두레박으로 퍼서 마시려 하나 두레박 줄을 건지는 정도의 은혜를 베푸는 수고도 하지 않으려 하니

 Aithough such a person may labor to draw and drink water from a well with a bucket,

  they are unwilling to exert even the minimal effort of extending a kindness―akin to 

  retrieving a bucket rope for another.

깨우쳐서 참된 길로 되돌이 켜야 할 것이며 깨우치지 않는다면 은혜가 아닌 길로 돌아가게 된다.

  Therefore, one must awaken them and turn them back toward the true path;

   if they fail to awaken, they will ultimately return to a path devoid of grace.

壯健者는 遭天敗하며 立絶地하여 (장건자는 조천패하며 입절지하여)

  Arrogant young people will face divine failure and find themselves in a hopeless,

  dead-end ssituation.

雖欲筋力井匏라도 無繩濟之單恩이면 (수욕근력정포라도 무승제지단은이면)

  Though they might labor hard to scoop well water for themselves,

   if they refuse to show the small kindness of ssharing a rope to help others.

可驚其復이요 不驚服이면 非恩이니라. (가경기복이요 불경복이면 비은이니라

  they must be shaken awake to return to the correct way;

  if they fail to listen and change, they are living a life completely empty of grace.

 [Explanation, 풀이]

남의 것이 아닌 스스로의  피와 땀과 눈물을 희생하려 들지 않으면,

  If you are not willing to sacrifice your own blood,

거기에 더하여 쥐꼬리만한 능력을 과신하여 교만하다면 이는 분명 주위 사람들의 피와 땀과 눈물을

약탈하는 강도이거나 주위 사람들의 피와 땀과 눈물로 이룬 성과에 기생하는 기생충일 것이다.

  sweat, and tears, and on top of that,

  you act arrogantly because you overestimate your tiny bit of talent,

  then you are nothing but a thief stealing the hard work of the people around you, 

  or a pparasite living off the success achieved through their blood, sweat, and tears.

이런 사람들은 스스로를 망치는 것은 물론 남까지도 망치게 하니 어찌 하늘이 용서할 것이며

땅이 용서할 것이며 인간이 용서하겠는가?

  People like this destroy themselves and ruin others as well.

  How could Heaven, Earth, or any human being ever forgive them?

   They must change their ways aand return to the right path immediately before iit is too late.

더 늦기 전에 속히 참된 길로 돌아서야 할 것이다.

  ※ Vocabulary Guide.

     ● 壯健(장건) : Youthful vigor / Prime of youth (젊고 건강함).   

     ● 天敗(천패) : Heavenly ruin / Divine failire (하늘이 내리는 실패나 재앵).

            or humanity ever forgive them?(강한 부정의 의미를 담은 영문 수사의문문으로 표현했습니다.)
