This morning, too, the Lord broke (stop) fast (starved) and said, ‘As I live by the Father, so he who eats me will live by me'.(John 6:57)
By eating the Lord, the quickening Spirit, He tells us to live each day.
However, by reading a few verses of the bible and realizing, I have to live by these words today, but I forgot about it before noon, and when evening comes, I wonder why I can't live according to the Word and end up frustrated.
We must find a way to eat and drink the Lord, just as the Lord said, whoever eats me will never see death, and will become one with me and live forever.
That is why the Christology of Paul's Romans is so important.
Or not, like the Corinthian church, the signs and gifts are abundant, but the sacrament is a mess, and it is not even a love feast, so the rich are full and the poor are outside.
Let's follow the flow of Romans, eat the Word as the bread of life through baptism and the sacrament, and become glorified by conforming to the image of the Son by the spirit of the Son.
Q. What does the word “obedience to the faith” mean?
“By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name” (Romans 1:5).
A. Mission means that now that we have received Christ, we are now going to give Christ.
This is the sense of mission of those who have received the Gospel.
After receiving the Gospel, we immediately want to give it to others.
One of the characteristics of a person of the Holy Spirit is the missionary nature of spreading the gospel.
This is the characteristic of those who have the Gospel.
Heaven is about to come down to earth.
When the sky is low, it rains, and when it is high, the sun is shining.
Those who are seated in heaven through Christ approach those who are on earth.
The word obedience to faith literally means to hear by faith.
Accepting the Word by faith gives me the obedience I can do.
That is why hearing is better than ram's fat (1 Samuel 15:22).
If you hear the Word before the Lord, you will believe and follow the place where you believe.
For example, the Lord says, 'Go! let it be done just as you believed it would.' (Matthew 8:13)
This is the power of the words of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the Word of life, so when He speaks, it becomes.
So he said, ‘Pick up your mat and walk,’ and the patient lying for thirty-eight years got up and walked.
It happen just as he said. (John 5:8-9)
I see a lot of people stumbling over this part.
Because it is the word of the Lord, there are people who say that if you hold on to the word, 'Get up and walk', believe and get up and walk, it will be as it is.
No. Because the word of Jesus Christ itself is the power of life, that word raised the patient lying for 38 years . Do you agree?
If you do wrong, like many people, you will use your will to get better.
That's not it.
The word of Jesus Christ penetrates into the person and causes the patient to get up.
It express this as obedience to faith.
If we believe and hear His Word before Christ who is the Word, the Word does not come into us as knowledge, but as power.
When you become obedient to faith, you become a person who works for his name.
The Word is the name of God (Revelation 19:13). The name means existence itself.
Therefore, receiving is to receive all the Word, name, honor, existence, and greatness.
Q. What is the blessing of those who have been called?
“And you also are among those gentiles who are called to belong to Jesus Christ. To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be his holy people: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”( Romans 1:6 -7)
A. Being called means being invited into Christ.
They were called into Christ and were invited as missionaries to receive and spread His gospel. How about you? Do you have such a spiritual pride?
Those who received God's grace in Rome and those who were invited as saints.
In other words, when we became sinners, God already crucified His Son and preached it to the whole world, and through this we are beloved of God invited into Christ. (Rom 5:8)
So let's ask.
The words that 'God has confirmed His love' is that mean that we first heard the word and were saved? Or is it that I heard the words after I was born again as a child of God?
The clear fact is that only those who are born again can hear the word of God.
In people's minds, it is only thought that they first heard the Word, believed, and were saved.
We just don't know very well because being born again and believing happen at the same time while we hear the Word.
Just as we do not have the right to decide or take any effort in our physical birth, we have nothing to do with being born of water and the Spirit.
However, after hearing the gospel of Christ and accepting him as the Savior by faith, we knew that we had been born again and became a new creation called into Christ.
Just because the apostle Paul was writing these words to people in Rome and they were the object of his interest does not mean that they all knew God's love.
Just because we were called as saints then and now does not mean that we have all the privileges of the saints.
Paul meant that he would quickly share this spiritual gift with them so that they would know what it was that they were loved by God and called to be saints.
If we make a mistake, we may miss out on the tremendous blessings God has reserved for us with just a confession that says, "I am also loved by God and I am a saint."
This is something to be wary of.
As saints in Rome, those who have been invited into Christ and those who have been called by God know the way to go on their own.
In order to see them, all things are enduring (Rom 8:22).
That is the evidence of those who have been called in Christ.
So, we who are saved are always busy with a sense of debt to the gospel.
Then, “grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
It is the grace of God that we have received the gospel, which is an explanation of the salvation Christ has accomplished, even though we do not work even a speck of. (Ephesians 2:8).
Then, through the truth, peace comes when you know what the grace is.
So the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17).
The word grace is very broad.
Everything God has given us is grace.
There, it is divided into the general grace given by nature and the special grace of the Bible.
The Father is the one who gave life and begotten us with the word of truth.
And the one who reigns us now is Jesus Christ.
God is our Father, but now our Master is Jesus Christ.
If we fully accept Christ as our Lord, there is peace.
Peace (Eirene) is a phenomenon in our hearts that appears when we become one with Christ.
There is no finished product called peace in the world.
We can only feel the peace when we become one with Christ through grace and truth.
And God is our Father through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, you must go through Romans chapters 1 to 8 and receive salvation by belief to obedience through faith.
Again, you must receive the salvation of Romans.
Obedience is accepting one step at a time by following the Word by faith.
Therefore, we must train ourselves to listen to the Lord well.
There is a time when we feel called into Christ, a time to eat and drink Christ, and a time to believe we are called to the throne of God.
Since the Bible is the word of God's promise, the dimension called to thㄷ promise needs a missionary who can explain the promise and know how far it is invited.
Evangelists are important.
However, the present church is too far away from the Gospel and leans towards the world.
If we are led by the gospel of Christ and are listening to the Word, we must always be awake and pursue whether or not the Word we have heard is actually working in us.
