.(Sermon Title)
When the purpose of believing in Jesus is right, his prayers are valuable.
1 Corinthians 9:26-27
Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.
The ultimate goal of believing in Jesus is to go to heaven.
The Creator God came to the world in human form and died on the cross to forgive the sins of mankind.
Jesus, who opened the way to salvation for mankind, was God himself.
There is only one way to enter heaven: to obey the words of Jesus, repent of our sins of disobedience, and have our sins washed away with the blood of Jesus.
But Satan hinders our salvation, he hates our belief in Jesus as the only Savior, and human doctrines hinder the truth of God.
Satan tells many lies to confuse our faith, as if there were two or three Gods. Many believers are deceived by these lies.
Those who are deceived by Satan's lies will never know God correctly. That is why the faith of many believers collapses.
Those who wish to go to heaven must believe that God is one, obey His words, and when they disobey, they must repent of their sins and wash away their sins with the blood of Jesus.
What God commands us to do is to forgive one another and love one another, and to repent of our failure to love one another.
The Bible says that because the devil always tries to hinder our faith, we must always resist and cast out the devil in the name of Jesus.
Loving God, forgiving neighbors for their faults, and loving one another is obeying God's word. This is the way to heaven.
Healing many diseases, performing miracles, and casting out evil spirits are not the fundamental purpose of believing in Jesus.
Loving God and your neighbors, and forgiving your neighbors is faith and the way to heaven.
Diseases and curses come to God's people because they disobey the word of the Lord and do not repent of their sins.
Instead of trying to cure the disease first, we must repent of the sins that cause the disease.
We must first cast out the demons that hinder repentance and obedience in the name of Jesus.
If we repent of our sins and obey the Lord, the demons and diseases must leave us by the power of God.
If we repent of our sins and obey the word of God, the demons will leave us, the disease and poverty will leave us, and we will enter heaven.
Those who do not know the goal and purpose of faith cannot overcome the temptation of Satan.
When a person who does not repent of his sins orders Satan to go away, Satan does not leave him, but attacks him.
To cast out Satan, we must first repent and receive forgiveness from the Lord.
The goal of our faith is to go to heaven, and the way to do so is to repent of our sins and obey the word of the Lord.
Satan is a being that hinders the purpose of our faith, so we must always cast out Satan in the name of Jesus.
If a soldier goes to war without knowing who his enemies are, can he just shoot anywhere?
A soldier must have a clear goal of protecting his country and shoot at the invading enemy.
All of God's people must defeat Satan, who hinders the spread of God's kingdom.
We must set a goal of believing only in God and obeying God's word, and we must defeat the demons that hinder us to the end.
Those who forget the goal of faith and only try to overcome diseases and curses will not achieve any results and will soon become discouraged.
The goal of our faith is to believe in the Creator God and obey His Word, And to defeat Satan who hinders our obedience.
The purpose of Jesus shedding His blood was to forgive all who repent ,and send them all to heaven.
Can a soldier who goes to war just shoot anywhere without knowing who the enemy is?
Just as a soldier shoots at the enemy to protect his country, we who have heavenly goals must defeat sin and Satan in the name of Jesus.
All of God’s people must become warriors who defeat Satan.
We must set goals of believing only in God, obeying God’s words, and defeating the demons that hinder our work.
Those who try to cast out Satan without a goal of faith will not achieve results and will become tired and discouraged.
The primary goal of our faith is to repent of our sins and go to heaven.
It is a terrible sin to divide the one God into three persons. We must repent of following this human doctrine.
Acts 19:14-16
Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.
(One day) the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?"
Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
When Paul preached the gospel, many miracles occurred and evil spirits were cast out.
The priest’s sons who were watching this situation thought that they could also drive out demons.
So they also ordered the evil spirits to leave. At that time, the one possessed by the spirits caught them and beat them severely.
The priest's sons ran away naked because the demon-possessed one was stronger. It is impossible to defeat a demon with human power.
When those who obey the word of God and repent command in the name of Jesus, demons are driven out by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 6:7-8
And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Those who pray for this and that according to the fleshly desires, rather than praying for the goal that the Bible teaches, are praying in vain.
When we pray and act for the right goal, God provides us with everything we need.
Matthew 6:12-13
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'
The first goal of faith is to believe that only God is the master and savior.
Believing in God means obeying God's Word and repenting whenever we sin.
The second goal is to forgive the faults of your neighbors, and to do good to them instead of doing evil to them.
When we forgive our neighbors first, the blood of Jesus forgives our sins.
When someone who does not forgive others casts out a demon, the demon laughs at the person and does not go out of him.
The demon says to him, “You are my servant. How can my servant try to cast me out?” and the demon oppresses him instead.
Matthew 6:21-23
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
When we use the material God has given us to save souls,
our spiritual eyes are opened, and our hopes and interests are always in heaven.
The eyes are the lamp of the body. Those with good eyes do not stumble over obstacles on the road.
In the same principle, those with bright spiritual eyes will never fall into Satan's trap.
Those who love money more than God are spiritually blind,
That is why such people fail and perish because they decide everything according to the desires of the flesh.
Those with dark spiritual eyes find their entire lives frustrating and painful.
Isaiah 1:15
When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide my eyes from you; even if you offer many prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood;
Even if we pray to the Lord for blessings without repenting our sins, the Lord does not accept such prayers.
The Lord covers His eyes from these people.
The reason is that their hands are full of blood.
The hands of those who harm and hurt others are full of blood.
Cain hated Abel and stoned him to death in the field. No one saw the murder.
As recorded in the Bible, Abel’s unjust blood flowed on the ground and he continued to appeal to the Lord for his injustice.
All sins are the enemy of the Lord. When we commit sin and do not repent, a wall of sin is built between us and the Lord.
That wall of sin prevents communication between the Lord and us.
Only through repentance can the wall of sin be torn down.
When the wall of sin disappears, the Lord’s life and blessings flow into us.
1 Corinthians 9:26-27
Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.
No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
Do not live a life of faith without a goal. The goal and purpose of faith is to believe in the Creator God, obey His words, and go to heaven.
Human doctrines teach that there is no need to obey the Lord’s words or repent. They oppose the Lord’s will.
False doctrines make people lose their goal of faith.
Those who have lost their goal pray in vain no matter how hard they pray.
Such believers are always under the control of Satan, and their end is hell.
Because they believe in Jesus without repentance, their sin problem cannot be solved.
In order not to be dragged by the demands of the flesh, the Apostle Paul beat his flesh every day to make it obey the words of Jesus.
The Apostle Paul also tried so hard to prevent himself from going to hell after preaching the gospel to others.
There are not many pastors who are spiritually awake these days. Most of them believe in and teach human doctrines.
They learn systematic theology in seminary. That systematic theology is human doctrine. They teach that the moment you believe in Jesus, you are saved forever.
So everyone wants to go to heaven easily, and pastors minister to gain physical pleasure and worldly fame.
These people believe in Jesus only to gain worldly blessings, honor, and pleasure. The purpose of their faith is different from the Bible.
Pastors like these are sending their followers to hell.
Romans 7:14-15
We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.
Even the apostle Paul, who was filled with the Holy Spirit and lived only by faith, spoke of his deep distress over the unspiritual of his flesh.
Oh, my flesh does not do what I want, but rather wants to do what I hate. I am greatly distressed. This is how he confessed the truth.
In order to obey the word of God, he daily defeated the thoughts of his flesh and made them submit to the will of the Lord.
This is the limit of a human being with a flesh.
The apostle Paul also tried hard to obey the word of the Lord, and we too must try hard to obey.
today, Who can surpass the faith of the apostle Paul?
Romans 7:22-23
For in my inner being I delight in God's law;
but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.
The inner man is our soul, and the outer man is our flesh.
The thoughts of the flesh are too strong, overpowering our minds and dragging us under sin.
It means that we cannot overcome the power of sin with our own determination or will.
Only by being filled with the Holy Spirit can we overcome the thoughts of sin by the power of the Holy Spirit.
the Holy Spirit, and when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we have a greater desire to repent and the strength to obey more.
