Y2K 오류였죠.
여기서 Y는 Year(년)를, K(엄밀하게는 소문자 k)는 1000을 나타내는 SI 접두어인 kilo(킬로)입니다.
대표적인 컴퓨터 설계의 오류로 지적됩니다. 
당시 사용했던 컴퓨터 대부분이 2천년을 ‘공공’년으로 인식해 1900년과 혼동할 수 있다는 문제가 제기됐습니다.
네자릿수인 연도의 뒤 두 자리만 인식할 수 있었기 때문인데요.
그로 인해 금융, 보안, 교통 등 각종 시스템이 오류를 일으켜 사회가 큰 혼란에 빠질 수 있다는 우려가 나왔습니다.
밀레니엄버그라고도 불린 이 불안감이 퍼지면서 사재기에 나선 사람들도 많았죠.
문제가 발생할 것을 대비해 현금을 찾으려는 사람들과 아예 통장 정리를 하려는 사람들이 은행으로 몰리면서 일부 금융기관에서는 거래가 중지되기도 했는데요.
대형마트도 비상용품을 사려는 사람들로 북새통을 이뤘고
영국 금융기관에서는 컴퓨터가 날짜를 인식하지 못해 신용카드 거래가 일시 중단됐습니다.
미국의 잭슨빌 전기공사와 체코의 한 전화회사는 가입자들에게 1900년 1월까지 요금을 내라는 어이없는 고지서를 보내 고객들의 항의가 있었죠.
이후 컴퓨터를 교체하고 프로그램을 수정하는 등의 노력을 기울인 덕분에 큰 문제 없이 2천 년을 맞이했지만 위와 같은 소동은 있었습니다.
Y2K로 인해 항공기 운항관제 시스템이 오류를 일으켜 항공기가 추락할지도 모른다는 루머 때문에 연말연시 항공편 예약률이 떡드랍하면서, 드디어 1999년12월31일에서 2000년1월1일이 바뀌는 시점에 가장 먼저 일어난 일은 무엇일까요?

영국 그리니치 천문대의 위치를 기준으로 표준시간  2000년1월1일이 바뀌는 시점에 영국 밀레니엄 돔에 전세계 언론의 카메라가 초점을 맞추고 있었죠.
그 순간 어린 소녀가 아바의  I have a dream 노래를 부르기 시작했습니다.
나에겐 꿈이 있어요. 부를 노래가 있어요 

"I Have a Dream"의 가사는 희망과 꿈, 더 밝은 미래에 대한 믿음을 시적으로 표현하고 있습니다. 분쟁이 없고 사랑과 이해로 가득 찬 세상∼ 

저는 지난 40여일간 밤에 악몽에 많이 시달렸습니다.
그런데 눈을 뜨도 현실은 그렇다는 것은 참으로 저를 비참하게 만들었습니다.
하루 종일 저의 억울함을 알 수 없는 누군가에게 보내면서, 꿈이 없었습니다.

꿈을 꾼다는 것은 희망의 끈을 놓치 않는다는 다른 표현입니다.

존경하는 여러분, 2000년1월1일이 바뀌는 시점에 영국 밀레니엄 돔에서 전세계 카메라가 지켜보는 가운데 첫 번째 사건이  "어린 소녀가 아바의  I have a dream 노래를 불렀고 이게 많은 사람의 뒤통수를 치며 여러 생각을 하게 만들었다"입니다.

I have been doing a monthly view in Korea before the new month under the name Zheng Dong-hee View.

Afterwards, thanks to efforts such as replacing computers and modifying programs, the year 2000 was reached without any major problems, but there were disturbances like the above.

As year-end and New Year flight reservation rates plummeted due to rumors that Y2K might cause an error in the aircraft flight control system and cause the plane to crash, what was the first thing that happened when December 31, 1999 changed from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000?

The moment of choice; Does a person's name determine his(her) destiny? country's geopolitical location determine its destiny?

For about 40 days starting from January 23rd of this year, I barely went out and spent my time standing for an average of 12 hours a day, focusing on emailing on the computer.

A little while ago, I went out for the first time in a while and ran some errands, and the bank teller's name had the same two letters as my name.

I don't know if that's why, but she seems like the prettiest female deputy manager I've ever seen at a commercial bank. haha

It is said that my name was chosen by my late maternal grandfather.

In 'Zheng ○ Hee', the surname is 'Zheng' and the last name 'Hee' is a fixed family name, so he had to choose the middle word, but he chose 'Dong' which means east.

In 2025, I unexpectedly reported the bribery and corruption of the head of an Australian government-funded bank to the Australian financial authorities in February 2024 (thinking it was just like Korea's civil complaint system), and my work progressed in a direction I had never imagined, and I was forced to do it.

In February 2024, after being harassed by the bank president for 50 days, I was unable to withdraw the original $1.75 million. In the midst of this, I finally received belated notice of the Australian system that had changed since 2024 and barely paid 1/10th of the deposit. However, the Australian government has informed us that reporting this must lead to a civil trial or withdrawals will be suspended for one year.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, I went to trial in a far away country called Australia, and (as everyone now knows) I have been going through a lot of hardships for a year now.

I hope you take my lesson back and don't file a trial in far away Australia unless you have a lot of cash.

The name Australia comes from the Latin word "Terra Australis," which meant an ancient hypothetical continent in the Southern Hemisphere.

“Terra Australis” means “Land of the South.” Australians who like abbreviations for long names shorten it to Auz, which simply means 'southern land'.

Going back to my name, Zheng Dong-hee is divided into three Chinese characters:

A truly grand meaning.

Does a person's name really determine his or her destiny?

What I felt while working on a civil lawsuit, which is considered a huge case even in Australia, over the past year was 'the story behind Australia that we didn't know about', and I have talked about it in detail in recent articles.

In doing so, I completed the “Star of Asia” model in my mind.

In time, Asia will begin to unite.

This is the core of this model.

Its center is East Asia.

This unity is unity for survival, and has the character of a double-edged sword.

One is coexistence

On the other hand, in some cases, they are willing to go to war against opponents of coexistence.

Australia, the ‘land of the south’, must now look east.

Your standard time matches that of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, one hour behind Korea and Japan, and one hour ahead from Singapore and Indonesia.

If I survive, and if my journey to find the end is successful despite the long, long tunnel of pain I have been in, I will repay Australia.

In February 2024, I already did something that not even 100 Australians who have lived in Australia for decades could do, and for this, I paid back by contributing to the recovery of 18M USD, part of the criminal assets, to the Australian treasury in April 2024.

But when I return to my normal daily life, I will repay Australia with something bigger.

This will lead Australia's future generations to play a role in coexistence within the "Star of Asia" model.

You may be asking, ‘What are you talking about when you don’t even have citizenship?’ However, in my view, the risk to which future generations of Australia will be exposed in this regard seems to be entering the danger zone.

Does a country's geopolitical location determine its destiny?

The answer to the above question proposition is yes.

Australia should no longer be immersed in what the Latin word "terra australis" refers to as the "Land of the South".
