The concept of well-being has taken a new and special meaning in the new normal. While it’s still largely about being in a good physical condition, free from illnesses, the emphasis shifts on the comfort and happiness at one’s quality of life. With everything done at home now and quarantine measures still in place, more people are asking how they can thrive in a holistic manner, physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally.

KB Realty Group’s recent webinar focuses on this topic, underscoring the importance of a holistic home for a holistic lifestyle. Titled Raising The Value of Your Well-being: The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place, the online discussion highlights one of the most innovative condominium projects in the country by Robinsons Land.

Doj Garcia, Sales Channel Head of RLC Residences, talks to Mark Bailey, Corporate Accounts Lead of KB Realty Group Philippines about the company’s partnership with Marriott International to offer an ultra-luxe, wellbeing-oriented lifestyle to modern homeowners.

Collaboration Between Property Giants

A product of two powerful brands, the upscale hotel chain Marriott International and renowned property developer RLC Residences, The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place is a luxurious residential development that offers branded and sophisticated services to its residents. In a nutshell, it’s designed to promote classic hotel living at home.

The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place reflects RLC Residences’ Raise, Live, Connect brand banner of RLC Residences. Residents are able to raise their game with a sophisticated home and tasteful architecture, live smart with online property management platforms and high-tech home features, and connect with loved ones by being in strategic locations, right within business districts or along major thoroughfares.

The Makings of a Healthy Home

Aside from being the only Westin-branded residence in the country, The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place features a distinct way of life geared towards better wellbeing.

Garcia noted, “[It] is the only [residence] that offers a unique lifestyle experience that we call the Six Pillars of Wellness. These make the Westin a healthy home because it allows you to have a well-balanced lifestyle.” It’s a home that nurtures, he added.

Each of the six pillars is curated with special programs, in partnership with renowned brands. It tackles different aspects of lifestyle:

• Move Well. This features the RunWestin Concierge, a guided runner program on the metro, and Westin Workout Studio, a fitness center that features top-quality equipment.
• Eat Well. This is in partnership with Superfoods RX, a brand that specializes in nutritious food, offering healthy snacks and meals to Westin residents.
• Sleep Well. This promotes the Heavenly Bed, a premium, comfortable bed exclusively used in Westin hotels worldwide.
• Play Well. This features a family bonding and recreation program called the Westin Weekend program.
• Feel Well. Composed of relaxation treatments, this pillar promotes the Heavenly Spa, Heavenly Bath, and Sensory Welcome, which offer cleansing and rejuvenation.
• Work Well. This boasts of a coworking space that has the complete setup: fast-speed internet, office supplies, and snacks from Superfoods RX. It’s called The Tangent™.

A Sanctuary of Amenities

Aligned with the promise to promote a well-rounded lifestyle, The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata is teeming with different facilities. “[It] has four floors of invigorating amenities that enliven every lifestyle, absolutely the best of its class. We call it The Haven because it houses various facilities that will energize work, play, and leisure.

Garcia gives a tour of each of the amenity floors:

• The ground floor features the retail spaces, the private drop-off area, the lobby and concierge desk;
• The 2nd floor features all facilities related to work, including function rooms and business lounges
• The 3rd floor features all facilities related to play, namely the wine room, private theater, game rooms, and studio
• The 4th floor features all facilities related to leisure, such as the indoor lap pool, pool deck lounge, fitness center, and outdoor area fitness center.

On top of these amenities, Garcia shared that The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata has a sky lounge called SKY 51. It offers majestic city views and the use of different leisure facilities, such as the bar, lounge, dining area, and living area.

“It’s a perfect breather for the residents after a long day of work,” Garcia said.

Healthy, Hotel-like Lifestyle

Through an exclusive residents’ card, homeowners at The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata can get ala carte services, namely housekeeping, in-residence dining, transportation, business center, administrative services, and in-residence spa services. It’s hotel-like living within the comforts of home.

Garcia added that the Marriott Bonvoy card gives residents access to luxurious Marriott hotels around the world. “Every accommodation that you book using the Marriott Bonvoy card earns you points,” he said. An elite cardholder who gains a certain amount of points can get discounts on different hotels.

Because of how they’re designed, the one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and penthouse units in The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata offer the same experience as a Westin hotel, according to Garcia.

Every element in the unit features high-end furnishings and fixtures. For instance, in the kitchen, the appliances and kitchen cupboards are from Gaggenau and Leicht. For bathroom fixtures, the residence uses the high-end brand Duravit and Hansgrohe.

Convenient Location, Healthy Neighborhood

Beyond the in-house features, the location of The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place is in a location that promotes improved well-being. Situated along San Miguel Avenue, it’s surrounded by upscale commercial centers, restaurants, corporate offices, hotels, medical facilities, and schools. The short distance of establishments from the residence promotes active transportation among homeowners.

“Definitely, our residents would enjoy walking around the calm neighborhood to [key] places,” Garcia noted. In The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata, homeowners will experience the best lifestyle and wellness perks of a convenient location.

Partners for a Healthy Home

Aside from Marriott International, RLC Residences collaborated with other renowned and trusted firms to complete their wellness-oriented condo project The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata.

Garcia shared, “For the interior design, we worked with FBEye International, an award-winning interior designer responsible for the gorgeous Westin Singapore. We also have Handel Architects, an architectural firm famous for their notable projects that include Lincoln Square in New York and Ritz Carlton in downtown Washington.”

He added, “The roster will not be complete without having two of the country’s most established trusted design and structural firms on board. I’m sure W.V. Coscolluela & Associates rings a bell. They’re the group behind the remarkable design of Robinsons Equitable Tower, also in Ortigas, and the famous Zuellig Building in Makati.”

Sy^2 + Associates, a structural engineering firm known for developing high-end projects, is also part of the team that developed The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata.

Special, Exclusive Deals

“Aside from our existing promos that include promotional payment terms that slash .5 percent in the total contract price, we also offer as much as four percent discount on featured units,” Garcia said. He added that those who already bought a Westin unit will be able to get another .5 percent loyalty discount on their second purchase.

Additionally, buyers of a one-bedroom unit can get a Heavenly Bath set and bedding set, while buyers of a three-bedroom or a penthouse unit can receive two Heavenly Beds and bedding sets.
