▪︎팔레스타인 원주민의 정체성은 최소한 AD 7세기 이슬람 확장 시기부터 이어져 왔으며, 수세기 동안 그 땅에서 뿌리내려 살아온 역사적 연속성을 갖습니다.

▪︎반면 이스라엘 국가는 1948년에 성립한 신생 국가로, 성서적·유대 민족적 기억을 바탕으로 재건된 것입니다.

▪︎따라서 역사적 "연속성"과 "현실성"에서는 팔레스타인 원주민의 역사에 더 뚜렷한 reality가 있다고 볼 수 있고, 이스라엘은 근대 민족주의 운동(시온주의)의 성과로 탄생한 상대적으로 짧은 역사라 할 수 있습니다.

The identity of the Palestinian people has been continuous since at least the 7th century AD, during the Islamic expansion, with centuries of rooted presence in the land. In contrast, the State of Israel is a modern nation established in 1948, built on biblical heritage and Jewish national memory through the Zionist movement.
Therefore, in terms of historical continuity and lived reality, the Palestinians have a longer and more direct historical presence, while Israel represents a much newer political entity shaped by modern nationalism.
