<p>A judge has rejected a request sideline a San Jose state player on the grounds she's transgender.</p><p>The ruling by US Magistrate judge Kato Crews allows the player, who has played to all season to compete in the Mount west women's volley balls comference tounament.</p><p>The rulling comes in a lawsuit filed <span style="color: #333333; background-color: #ffffff;" data-ke-size="size16">by </span>nine players against the Mount west challenging the league's policy for allowing transgender players to participate.</p><p>the players argued that letting her compete is a safety risk and unfair.  </p><p>San Jose state says it will continue to support its student athlete and reject discrimination in all forms. </p><p>I'm Mike Hempen. </p>
