VIDEO 96 Tears
Question Mark and the Mysterians
Too many teardrops for one heart to be crying
Too many teardrops for one heart to carry on
You're way on top now since you left me
You're always laughing way down at me
But watch out now, I'm gonna get there
We'll be together for just a little while
And then I'm gonna put you way down here
And you'll start crying ninety-six tears
Cry, cry
And when the sun comes up, I'll be on top
You'll be right down there, looking up
And I might wave, come up here
But I don't see you waving now
I'm way down here, wondering how
I'm gonna get you but I know now
I'll just cry, cry, I'll just cry
Too many teardrops for one heart to be crying
Too many teardrops for one heart to carry on
You're gonna cry ninety-six tears
You're gonna cry ninety-six tears
You're gonna…
Come on and let me hear you cry, now
Ninety-six tears, woo I wanna hear you cry
Night and day, yeah, all night long
Uh, ninety-six tears, cry, cry, cry
Come on, baby, let me hear you cry now, all night long
Uh, ninety-six tears, yeah, come on now
Uh, ninety-six tears

? and the Mysterians
? and the Mysterians (also rendered Question Mark and the Mysterians)
are an American garage rock band from Bay City and Saginaw in Michigan,
who were initially active between 1962 and 1969.
Question mark and Mysterians는 미시간주 Bay City 출신으로 1962년과 1969년 사이에 활동하였다
( 69년 밴드 해산후, 몇몇이 따로 활동 )
Much of the band's music consisted of electric organ-driven garage rock and an enigmatic image inspired
by the science fiction film The Mysterians.[5]
밴드의 많은 부분은 전자 올갠 기반의 "garage rock"(?)로 여겨지며, 1957년 일본 SF 영화에서 수수꼐끼
같은 이미지를 차용했다고 한다.
In addition, the band's sound was also marked by raw-resonating lead vocals of "?" (Question Mark, the stage
name of Rudy Martinez[1][2][3]), making Question Mark and the Mysterians one of the earliest groups whose
musical style is described as punk rock.
Through their music, the group was recognized as a template for similar musical acts to follow.[6]
The band was signed to Pa-Go-Go Records in 1966 and released its first and most acclaimed single,
"96 Tears", in the early part of the year.
"96 Tears" became a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and propelled the group to a 15-month period of
national prominence.[7]
"96 Tears"는 1966년 빌보드 핫 100의 top( 1위 )에 올랐으며, 이는 이 밴드의 미국내 활동적인
15개월간의 추진체가 되었다.
Their debut album, 96 Tears, followed. Though Question Mark and the Mysterians were unable to replicate their
success with their later recordings, and are mistakenly deemed a "one-hit wonder", they did manage to reach
the singles charts on five different occasions.
In 1968, their label, Cameo-Parkway, was shut down for stock manipulation by the Securities and Exchange
Commission, taking the band's money and contract with them.[citation needed]
Though they disbanded in 1969, the band has regrouped and released additional material over the years.
