2) 전도의 비결 - 2

여러분들의 마음이 그래요? 그것이 부모의 심정을 가지고 종의 몸을 쓰는 거예요. 그러면 그 사람들이 왔다가 가려고 하면 궁둥이가 안 떨어집니다. 알겠어요? 그런 뭣이 있어요. 영적으로 체험할 것입니다. 참 재미있어요. 

그래 가지고 식구들을 대하게 될 때는 '아무개가 내일 아침에 온다.'고 기도하고 자면 오는 거라구요. 온다구요. 알겠어요? 「예.」 내가 이 가미야마에게도 그런 훈련을 시켰습니다. '너 기도해 봐라 요러한 마음, 요러한 심정을 가지고 요렇게 하게 되면 진짜 요렇게 된다. 네가 동양 사람이라서 지금까지 너에게 하나님이 협조를 안 했는지 모르지만, 이제 미국 땅에 왔으니 내 말대로 믿고 하라.'고 한 거예요.

그래서 가미야마가 믿고 그대로 했다구요. 아니나다를까, 아무개가 내일 아침에 오기를 기원했더니 오더라는 거라구요. 그런 일이 벌어진다구요. 무슨 말인지 알겠어요? 

심정이 사무쳐야 됩니다. 어느 정도냐? 사랑하는 애인을 그리워하는 이상의 자리에만 나가 봐라 이거예요. 그러면 직통이예요, 직통. 세상에서 상사병이 난다는 말 들어 봤지요? 하나님을 대해서 그 이상만 돼 봐라 이거예요.

그런 자리에 가면 밥숟갈을 들어도 '아버지!' 그러게 돼요. '같이 듭시다.' 이거예요. 그건 실감이라구요. 실감이 나면 자연스럽다구요. 어디 앉아도 '아버지!' 하고, 좋은 것이 있으면 자기도 모르게 드리고 싶고, 좋은 옷을 입기 전에 먼저 입혀 드리고 싶은 것입니다. 그렇게 떡 되게 되면, 여기 선생님을 대해서 그런 생각을 하게 되면, 염려해 주면 선생님이 좋은 옷을 입고 있는 것이 다 보인다구요. 그러한 경험이 있어야 합니다. 

전도하는 비결이 있습니다. 그것은 어떤 사람이 찾아왔다가 떠날 때 못견딜 만큼 아쉬워할 수 있게 해야 합니다. 밤 12시가 지나고 2시가 되더라도 가겠다고 하면 가슴이 철렁하여 '좀더 있다가 갔으면…' 하는 마음을 가질 수 있는 사람이라면 교회의 부흥은 틀림없습니다. 

선생님은 지금까지 그 원칙을 중심 삼고 살고 있습니다. 여러분이 선생님을 살펴보면 그런 것을 많이 느낄 수 있을 것입니다. 식구들이 모였다가 밤 12시가 넘고 2시, 3시가 되어서 가려고 해도 좀더 있다가 가라고 합니다. 그런 마음이 없으면 발전할 수 없습니다. 거기에는 부모의 마음이 동하는 것입니다. 

자식하고 같은 방에서 자고 싶고, 같이 있고 싶은 이런 부모의 마음을 여러분은 상속받아야 합니다. 누가 옷을 허름하게 입었으면 그것을 보고 부끄럽게 느껴야 됩니다. 누나나 형제가 보아도 안 됐는데 부모의 심정은 어떠하겠습니까? 아들이 먹지 못하여 핼쑥한 얼굴을 보면 부모는 자기가 먹지 못하면서도 무엇이든 간직했다가 그냥 그대로 주는 것입니다. 그런 마음을 가져야 됩니다. (23-67) 

여러분들은 선생님이 말하는 것을 그냥 흘러가는 동네 사람 얘기같이 생각해서는 안 된다구요. 거기에 생명을 걸고, 딴 것은 못 하더라도 그것을 해야 된다구요. 전도하는 길은 별것 없다구요.

원리 말씀 듣게 하는 것 하고 원리 말씀 읽게 하는 이 두 길밖에 없다구요. 지금 여러분들이 가두에 가서 전도하는 게 뭐예요? 사람들을 데려다가 뭘하자는 거예요? 원리 말씀 듣게 하고 원리 말씀 읽게 하자는 거거든요. (96-131)

皆さんの心はそうですか？　それが、父母の心情を抱いて僕の体をもつということなのです。そうなれば、その人たちが、来てから行こうとすれば、お尻が離れないのです。分かりますか？　そういう何かがあるのです。霊的に体験するのです。とてもおもしろいのです。

そうして、食口たちに対するようになるとき、誰かが、「あすの朝来る」と祈祷して寝れば、来るのです。来るのです。分かりますか？ （はい）。私が、この神山にもこのような訓練をさせたのです。

「お前、祈祷してみよ。こういう心、こういう心情をもって、こうすれば、本当にこうなる。君が東洋人なので、今までお前に、神様が協助しなかったかもしれないが、今、米国に来ているので、私の言うとおりに信じてしてみよ」と語ったのです。

ですから、神山が信じて、そのとおりにしたのです。誰かが、あすの朝来るように祈ると、来たというのです。そういうことが起こるのです。何のことか、分かりますか？

心情が、いたたまれないような心情でなければなりません。どの程度か、愛する恋人を慕う以上の立場にまで、行ってみよというのです。そうすれば、直通です。世間で、恋わずらいにかかるということを聞いたことがあるでしょう。

神様に対して、それ以上になってみよというのです。そういう立場に行くと、はしを持っても「お父様！　一緒に召し上がりましょう」こう言うのです。そういう実感なのです。実感がわけば、自然なのです。

どこに座っても、「お父様！」と言って、いいものがあれば、自分も知らずに差し上げたく、いい服を着る前に、まず着せて差し上げたいのです。そのようになれば、この先生に対して、そういう考えをするようになれば、心配すれば、先生がいい服を着ているのが、みな見えるのです。そういう経験がなければならないのです。

伝道する秘訣があります。それは、ある人が、訪ねてきて過ぎ去るとき、耐えられないくらい残念がることができるようにならなければならないのです。夜十二時が過ぎ、二時になっても、「行こう」と言えば、胸がキュッとして、「もう少ししてから行けば……」という心をもてる人ならば、教会の復興は間違いありません。

先生は、今までその原則を中心に生きています。皆さんが先生を観察すると、そういうことをたくさん感じられるというのです。食口たちが集まって、夜十二時が過ぎ、二時、三時になって、「行こう」と思っても、「もう少ししてから行こう」と思います。そういう心がなければ、発展しないのです。そこには、父母の心が動くのです。

子供と同じ部屋で寝たいし、一緒にいたい、こういう父母の心を皆さんは相続しなければなりません。誰かが粗末な服を着ていれば、それを見て、恥ずかしく感じなければなりません。

姉さんや兄弟が見てもそうなのに、親の心はどうですか。息子が食べることもろくにできずに、やつれた顔をしているのを見れば、父母は自分が食べずに何でも取っておいて、そのまま与えるのです。そういう心をもたなければなりません。（二三―六七）

皆さんは、先生が言うことを、そのまま流れていく村人の話のように考えてはなりません。そこに生命を懸け、他のことができなくても、それをしなければならないのです。

伝道する道は、特別なことではありません。原理のみ言を聞かせることと、原理のみ言を読ませること、この二つの道しかないのです。今皆さんが、街頭に行って、伝道するのはなぜですか。人を連れて何をしようというのですか？　原理のみ言を聞かせ、原理のみ言を読ませようということなのです。（九六―一三一）

You should have the body of a servant and the heart of parent. Then, when people come for a visit, and as they try to leave, they cannot get up. Do you understand? There is something mysterious there. You will experience it spiritually. It is very interesting.

When you deal with the members with this foundation, and you pray before falling asleep, "So and so will come tomorrow morning," he will surely come and visit you at the time that you have predicted.

He will come for certain. Do you understand? [Yes] I also had this Kamiyama go through that training. I told him, "You pray and see. If you pray with this state of mind and this type of heart, then this will happen.

You may think that God did not help you until now because you are an Oriental ; but since you came to America, you should trust my words and act accordingly." So, Kamiyama believed it and followed through accordingly. As was expected, after he prayed that so and so come the next morning, that person really did come. This type of phenomena will take place. Do you understand what that means?

You must be engulfed in the heart of faith. To what degree? Just exceed the degree to which you yearn for your lover and see what unfolds. Then there will be a direct connection. You all heard of how people become lovesick, right? You should exceed that degree of intensity in your heart toward God and all will come to pass.

When you are picking up your spoon, you automatically call out, "Father!" You will say to Him, "Let's have this meal together." You have to feel this to your bones. When you have this life experience, you will sense that it is very natural.

When you sit down somewhere, you will cry out, "Father!" When you have some good clothes you will automatically want to offer it to Him, and before you wear good clothes, you will want to put something good on Him first.

If you can have this kind of attitude toward me, and are sincerely concerned about me, then you will see before you a vision of me wearing good clothes. You need to have this kind of experience.

There is a key to witnessing. It is greatly yearning for a person who is about to go back just after paying you a visit, and feeling unbearably sorrowful that he is leaving. Even after midnight and two in the morning, if he says that he wants to leave, then your heart must, be shaken up and wish that he stay for a little more.

If you can have this kind of heart, then the church will definitely be revived. I have been living up to now centering on that principle. If you examine me closely, you will very much sense that from me.

When members gather, even after midnight or two, three in the morning, they try their best to stay with me a little longer. Without this base of heart, there cannot be any progress. The parental heart will dwell in such a place.

You must inherit the parental heart that wishes to sleep in the same room and always be with the child. When someone is wearing worn out clothes, you should feel shame.

Even when a brother or sister sees that, they will be sad, so how much so is it when a parent sees that? When a parent sees that the child has become skinny because he or she had nothing to eat, then the parent will take out something that he or she has put aside and give it to the child despite his or her own hunger. This is the kind of heart you should have. [23-67]

You should not take my words lightly as if it is coming from the mouth of some neighbor. You have to put your life on it, and even if you cannot do other things, you have to at least carry this out. There is not much to the path of witnessing. There are only two things: having people listen to and read about the Divine Principle.

What are you trying to do by witnessing on the street? What are you going to do after you bring them along? It is to have them listen to and read from the Principle words. [96-131]
