7. A Kosovar man lights a candle in front of the national theatre in Pristina on January 15 to mark the 25th anniversary of the Racak Massacre. In 1999, 45 Albanian civilians were killed by Serb forces in the village of Racak. The massacre, one of the bloodiest that occurred in the Kosovo crisis, led to a NATO-led air campaign that ousted Serbian security forces from Kosovo.
