2025.3.3 | Watch for His Return | Daily Devotion | Pastor Jim Cymbala

[People /throughout the years] have tried [to predict when Jesus will return], 

but the Bible plainly tells [us] [that no one knows]. 

And if no one knows [the day or hour //that it will happen],

that means () no one knows [when it won’t happen]

—so we’d better stay alert! 

May the Lord help [us] [to keep an attitude of watching for Him every day].

* 주어인 명사구 [People /throughout the years], 목적인 부정사구 [to predict when Jesus will return], 

* 3 형식 predict [when Jesus will return], knows [when it won’t happen] (when절은 의문사절 역할)

* 4 형식 tells [us] [that no one knows]. (간목≠직목)
