Dear Everyone,
The Old Testament reading for Sunday worship service will be
Psalm 119:49-56 and our New Testament reading will be
Matthew 7:15 - 20.
The text for my sermon will be Romans 5.

사랑하는 여러분,
주일 예배를 위한 구약 성경의 낭독은 시편 119:49-56이 될 것이며,
우리의 신약 성경의 낭독은 마태복음 7:15-20이 될 것입니다.
내 설교의 본문은 로마서 5장이 될 것이다.

Psalm 119
49. ○주의 종에게 하신 말씀을 기억하소서 주께서 내게 소망을 가지게 하셨나이다
Remember your word to your servant,
for you have given me hope.

50. 이 말씀은 나의 고난 중의 위로라 주의 말씀이 나를 살리셨기 때문이니이다
My comfort in my suffering is this:
Your promise preserves my life.

51. 교만한 자들이 나를 심히 조롱하였어도 나는 주의 법을 떠나지 아니하였나이다
The arrogant mock me unmercifully,
but I do not turn from your law.

52. 여호와여 주의 옛 규례들을 내가 기억하고 스스로 위로하였나이다
I remember, LORD, your ancient laws,
and I find comfort in them.

53. 주의 율법을 버린 악인들로 말미암아 내가 맹렬한 분노에 사로잡혔나이다
Indignation grips me because of the wicked,
who have forsaken your law.

54. 내가 나그네 된 집에서 주의 율례들이 나의 노래가 되었나이다
Your decrees are the theme of my song
wherever I lodge.

55. 여호와여 내가 밤에 주의 이름을 기억하고 주의 법을 지켰나이다
In the night, LORD, I remember your name,
that I may keep your law.

56. 내 소유는 이것이니 곧 주의 법도들을 지킨 것이니이다
This has been my practice:
I obey your precepts.

마태복음 7장

Matthew 7

15. ○거짓 선지자들을 삼가라 양의 옷을 입고 너희에게 나아오나 속에는 노략질하는 이리라

“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheepʼs clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

16. 그들의 열매로 그들을 알지니 가시나무에서 포도를, 또는 엉겅퀴에서 무화과를 따겠느냐

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

17. 이와 같이 좋은 나무마다 아름다운 열매를 맺고 못된 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺나니

Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

18. 좋은 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺을 수 없고 못된 나무가 아름다운 열매를 맺을 수 없느니라

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

19. 아름다운 열매를 맺지 아니하는 나무마다 찍혀 불에 던져지느니라

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20. 이러므로 그들의 열매로 그들을 알리라

Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

로마서 5장

Romans 5

1. 그러므로 우리가 믿음으로 의롭다 하심을 받았으니 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님과 화평을 누리자

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

2. 또한 그로 말미암아 우리가 믿음으로 서 있는 이 은혜에 들어감을 얻었으며 하나님의 영광을 바라고 즐거워하느니라

through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

3. 다만 이뿐 아니라 우리가 환난 중에도 즐거워하나니 이는 환난은 인내를,

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;

4. 인내는 연단을, 연단은 소망을 이루는 줄 앎이로다

perseverance, character; and character, hope.

5. 소망이 우리를 부끄럽게 하지 아니함은 우리에게 주신 성령으로 말미암아 하나님의 사랑이 우리 마음에 부은 바 됨이니

And hope does not put us to shame, because Godʼs love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

6. 우리가 아직 연약할 때에 기약대로 그리스도께서 경건하지 않은 자를 위하여 죽으셨도다

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

7. 의인을 위하여 죽는 자가 쉽지 않고 선인을 위하여 용감히 죽는 자가 혹 있거니와

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.

8. 우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9. 그러면 이제 우리가 그의 피로 말미암아 의롭다 하심을 받았으니 더욱 그로 말미암아 진노하심에서 구원을 받을 것이니

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from Godʼs wrath through him!

10. 곧 우리가 원수 되었을 때에 그의 아들의 죽으심으로 말미암아 하나님과 화목하게 되었은즉 화목하게 된 자로서는 더욱 그의 살아나심으로 말미암아 구원을 받을 것이니라

For if, while we were Godʼs enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

11. 그뿐 아니라 이제 우리로 화목하게 하신 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님 안에서 또한 즐거워하느니라

Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

12. ○그러므로 한 사람으로 말미암아 죄가 세상에 들어오고 죄로 말미암아 사망이 들어왔나니 이와 같이 모든 사람이 죄를 지었으므로 사망이 모든 사람에게 이르렀느니라

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

13. 죄가 율법 있기 전에도 세상에 있었으나 율법이 없었을 때에는 죄를 죄로 여기지 아니하였느니라

To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyoneʼs account where there is no law.

14. 그러나 아담으로부터 모세까지 아담의 범죄와 같은 죄를 짓지 아니한 자들까지도 사망이 왕 노릇 하였나니 아담은 오실 자의 모형이라

Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.

15. 그러나 이 은사는 그 범죄와 같지 아니하니 곧 한 사람의 범죄를 인하여 많은 사람이 죽었은즉 더욱 하나님의 은혜와 또한 한 사람 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 말미암은 선물은 많은 사람에게 넘쳤느니라

But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did Godʼs grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

16. 또 이 선물은 범죄한 한 사람으로 말미암은 것과 같지 아니하니 심판은 한 사람으로 말미암아 정죄에 이르렀으나 은사는 많은 범죄로 말미암아 의롭다 하심에 이름이니라

Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one manʼs sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

17. 한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 사망이 그 한 사람을 통하여 왕 노릇 하였은즉 더욱 은혜와 의의 선물을 넘치게 받는 자들은 한 분 예수 그리스도를 통하여 생명 안에서 왕 노릇 하리로다

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive Godʼs abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

18. 그런즉 한 범죄로 많은 사람이 정죄에 이른 것 같이 한 의로운 행위로 말미암아 많은 사람이 의롭다 하심을 받아 생명에 이르렀느니라

Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.

19. 한 사람이 순종하지 아니함으로 많은 사람이 죄인 된 것 같이 한 사람이 순종하심으로 많은 사람이 의인이 되리라

For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

20. 율법이 들어온 것은 범죄를 더하게 하려 함이라 그러나 죄가 더한 곳에 은혜가 더욱 넘쳤나니

The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

21. 이는 죄가 사망 안에서 왕 노릇 한 것 같이 은혜도 또한 의로 말미암아 왕 노릇 하여 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 영생에 이르게 하려 함이라

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
