한국 가곡 봄 처녀를 만들었을 때,

우리나라는 아직 독립하지 못하고 있었습니다.

그러나 시간이 흐른 뒤,

시인이 간절한 꿈이 이루어져

결국 대한민국은 자유를 되찾았습니다.

이러한 역사적 배경을 바탕으로,

봄 처녀의 이야기(1-2절)에 이어

그 뒷부분을 그림으로 묘사해봤습니다.

봄 처녀 – 사랑과 독립, 그리고 희망의 노래

석양빛 호수에 앉아,

봄처녀는 깊은 사색에 잠깁니다.

그녀 앞에 놓인 선택은 단순한 사랑의 결합이 아니라,

한 나라의 운명을 상징하는 결단이었습니다.

시인, 곧 대한민국과의 결혼은 독립이라는 이름으로 완성됩니다.

결혼에 대해 깊은 생각에 잠긴 봄처녀

결국 그녀는 마음을 정하고,

두 사람은 부부가 되어 한 집에 살게 됩니다.

서로를 사랑하며,

이제 봄처녀는 아내가 되어 남편을 기다립니다.

이 기다림은

오늘날 우리가 살아가는 한국의 모습과 겹쳐지며,

역사와 사랑이 하나로 이어집니다.

사랑하는 남편을 기디리는 봄처녀

이 두 점의 그림은 단순한 풍경을 넘어,

독립의 서사와 사랑과 희망의 서정을 함께 담아낸

- The Untold Story of the Spring Maiden

When the Korean art song “Spring Maiden” was first created,
Korea had not yet regained its independence.

Yet as time passed,

the poet’s earnest longing was fulfilled,
and at last, the nation reclaimed its freedom.

Inspired by this historical background,

these paintings imagine what comes after the original story (verses 1–2),
bringing its untold continuation to life.

— A Song of Love, Independence, and Hope

Seated by a lake glowing in the light of sunset,
the Spring Maiden falls into deep contemplation.

The choice before her is not merely a union of love,
but a decision that symbolizes the destiny of a nation.

Her union with the poet—representing Korea—
is ultimately fulfilled in the name of independence.

Spring Maiden Deep in Thought About Marriage.

At last, she resolves her heart.
The two are united in marriage and begin their life together.

Bound by love, the Spring Maiden now waits for her husband as a devoted wife.
That quiet waiting reflects the Korea we live in today,
where history and love are woven into one.

The Spring Maiden, waiting faithfully for her beloved husband.

These two paintings are more than simple landscapes.
They are visual poems—
interweaving the narrative of independence
with the lyricism of love and hope.
