하나님 나라 비밀 21 (The Searet of the Kingdom 21)

하늘나라는 겨자씨와 같다.

 겨자씨는 땅에 심겨질 때에는 땅 위에 있는 모든 씨앗들 중에서 가장 작은 것이지만, 심겨진 후에는 모든 나무들 중에서 가장 크게 자라나서 큰 가지들을 뻗고 나무가 되어, 하늘의 새들이 날아와서 그 가지와 그늘에 둥지를 틀 수 있게 된다.

(마태복음 13:31～32 ; 마가복음 4:31～32 ; 누가복음 13:19)

The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth; yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes the greatest of all shrubs, and puts forth large branches and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air can come and make nests in its branches and shade.

예수는 “하늘 나라는 겨자씨와 같다”는 말씀으로 하나님 나라의 비밀을 가르쳐 주고 있습니다.

지금 여기, 땅 위에 심겨진 하나님 나라는 겨자씨 천국, 작은 천국의 모습으로 시작된다는 것입니다.

작은 천국이란 하나님 나라 방식의 새 삶을 사는 두세 사람의 작은 모임입니다.

하나님 나라는 이처럼 보잘것없는 작은 천국으로부터 시작되어, 많은 사람들이 둥지를 트고 안식하게 되는 큰 천국으로 자라나게 됩니다.

그래서 예수는 겨자씨를 심는 농부처럼, 오늘도 이 작은 천국 모임을 이 땅 위에 심고 계시는 것입니다.
