야고보서3장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 야고보서3장1. 내 형제들아, 너희는 많이 선생이 되지 말라. 우리가 더 큰 정죄를 받을 줄 아노라.My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. 2. 우리가 다 많은 것에서 실족하나니 만일 어떤 사람이 말에서 실족하지 아니하면 그는 곧 완전한 사람이요 능히 온     몸도 제어하는 사람이라.For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same [is] a perfect man, [and] able also to bridle the whole body.3. 보라, 말들이 우리에게 순종하게 하려고 우리가 말들의 입에 재갈을 물리나니 이로써 우리가 그것들의 온 몸을     돌리느니라.Behold, we put bits in the horses mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.4. 또한 배들을 보라. 그것들이 그렇게 커도 사나운 바람에 밀려가되 사공이 매우 작은 키 하나로 자기가 가고자 하는    대로 그것들을 돌리느니라.Behold also the ships, which though [they be] so great, and [are] driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.5. 이와 같이 혀도 작은 지체로되 큰일들을 자랑하는도다. 보라, 작은 불이 얼마나 큰 물체를 태우는가!Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6. 혀는 불이요 불법의 세계니라. 이와 같이 혀는 우리의 지체들 가운데 하나로 온 몸을 더럽히고 본성의 행로에 불을    붙이며 자기도 지옥 불 위에 놓여 있느니라.And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 7. 모든 종류의 짐승과 새와 뱀과 바다에 있는 것들은 길들일 수 있고 또 사람이 길들여 왔으나For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8. 혀는 아무도 능히 길들이지 못하나니 그것은 다스릴 수 없는 악이요 죽이는 독으로 가득한 것이니라.But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.9. 그것으로 우리가 [하나님] 곧 [아버지]를 찬송하며 또 그것으로 우리가 [하나님]의 모양대로 만들어진 사람들을     저주하느니라.Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.10. 같은 입에서 찬송과 저주가 나오거니와, 내 형제들아, 이런 것들이 결코 그래서는 아니 되느니라.Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.11. 샘이 같은 곳에서 단물과 쓴물을 내느냐?Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet [water] and bitter? 12. 내 형제들아, 무화과나무가 올리브 열매를 맺을 수 있겠느냐? 혹은 포도나무가 무화과를 맺을 수 있겠느냐?       그와 같이 어떤 샘도 짠물과 민물 둘을 낼 수 없느니라.Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so [can] no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.13. 너희 중에 지식을 갖추고 지혜로운 자가 누구냐? 그는 지혜의 온유함으로 선한 생활에서 나오는 자신의 행위를       보일지니라.Who [is] a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.14. 그러나 너희 마음속에 독한 시기와 다툼이 있으면 자랑하지 말며 진리를 거슬러 거짓말하지 말라.But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.15. 이러한 지혜는 위로부터 내려오는 것이 아니요, 땅에 속한 것으로 관능적이며 마귀에게 속한 것이니This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish. 16. 시기와 다툼이 있는 곳에는, 거기에는 혼란과 모든 악한 일이 있느니라.For where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work. 17. 그러나 위로부터 난 지혜는 첫째 순수하고 다음으로 화평하며 부드럽고 간청을 잘 들어주며 긍휼과 선한 열매로       가득하고 차별과 위선이 없나니But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18. 의의 열매는 화평케 하는 자들의 화평 속에서 뿌려졌느니라.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
