Matter No. 181 造器(조기)는 하늘이 인간의 그릇을 만드는 것으로만인을 하나의 형상으로 만들며 만가지 성품을 하나의 품격으로 만든다.  "Making Vessels(造器,조기)" refers to Heaven shaping the capacity and character of human beings;   it molds all people into a singular form and refines a myriad of individual dispositions   into a unified dignity. 다만 여덟 가지가 다르고  아홉 가지를 특별하게 만들었음은 구제하는 데 있어 바탕이 서로 다르니 반드시 굽고, 녹이고, 갈고, 단련함으로써 이루게 된다.  However, the reason why eight aspects are distinct and nine aspects are specially crafted   is that the fundamental nature of each individual varies when it comes to delivering salvation;   thus, this charater must be achieved through bending, melting, grinding, and tempering.  [Orlglnal Text, 원문] 造器者는 天이 爲造人器也라 (조기자는 천이 위조인기야라)  "Making Vessels(造器,조기)" refers to Heaven shaping the capacity and character of human beings.  造萬人一像하며 造萬性一品이라 (조만인일상하며 조만성일품이라)  It molds all people into a singular form and refines a myriad of individual dispositions   into a unified dignity.  但造八異而九殊者는 濟質이니 (단조팔이이구수자는 제질이니)   However, the reason why eight aspects are made distinct and nine aspects are specially   differentiated is because the fundamental nature of each individual varies whendeivering salvation. 互相不同하여 必陶鎔磨鍊而成이니라. (호상부동하여 필도용마련이성이니라.)  Since they are mutually different from one another,   this character must inevitably be achieved through pottery-making(bending),   melting, grinding, and tempering.  [Commentary, 풀이] 8가지가 다르고 9가지가 특수하다면 총 8 ☓ 9=72 이다.  If eight aspects are distinct and nine aspects are special, the total is  8 ☓ 9=72. 이는 天符經(천부경)의 무궤화이의 숫자이고, 바둑판의 둘레이며 장기판의 면적이다.  This is the number representing Mugye-hwai(무궤화이-' Transformation without boundary or trace")   in the Cheonbugyeong(天符經,천부경 - The heavenly Code), and it also corresponds   to a Go board and the total area of Janggi(Korean chess) board. 그러나 이 72 수의 중심은 하나(一)이니 곧 하나님이다.  Yet, the center of this number 72 is One (一,일), which signifies God(the One Supreme Being).바둑판의 둘레에서 각각의 점이 중앙에  천원점으로 오는 방향이 다르듯   Just as each point on the perimeter of a Go board approaches the central  Cheonwon(천원,- "Origin of Heaven") point from a different direction, 하나님께서 창조하신 원래의 모습으로 돌아가기 위해서는  In order to return to the original form created by God, 반듯시 흙을 구워 도자기가 되듯 굽고,  광석을 녹여 쇠가 되듯 녹이고, 돌을 갈아 물건을 만들듯 갈고,쇠를 두들겨 단련함으로서 좋은 쇠가 되듯 단련하여야 一神(일신)께서 만드신 원래의 모습으로 돌아가게 된다. one must inevitably be baked just as clay is baked to become pottery,  melted just as ore is melted to become iron, ground just as stone is ground to shape an object,  and tempered just as iron is beaten and forged to become fine steel.  Only through this process can one return to the original form crafted by the One God(一神,일신).
