[틈틈이 영어공부] I've been cooped up too long.

- 영한 : 갇혀있다, 칩거하다, 꼼짝않고 들어앉아 있다

- 영영 : to keep (a person or animal) inside a building or in a small space especially for a long period of time — usually used as (be) cooped up

- 활용 : coop up in(~안에 가두어 놓다), coop up with(~으로 가둬놓다)

Ken: My wife insisted that I get out of the house.
켄: 우리 아내가 집에서 좀 나가라고 등을 떠밀더군.

Peter: It's a great day to be outside.
피터: 밖에 나오긴 아주 좋은 날이야.

Ken: I only hope my golf game is as good.
켄: 잘 치기나 했으면 좋겠네.

Peter: Are you out of practice?
피터: 실력이 좀 녹슬었어?

Ken: I haven't played for eight months.
켄: 8개월만에 처음 치는 거야.
