1. 오세훈 서울시장이 2심에서 무죄를 선고받았습니다.

   정치자금법상 당선무효형에 해당하는 1심의 벌금 1천만 원의 형이 뒤집힌 겁니다.

   2심 재판부는 함께 기소된 강철원 전 서울시 정무부시장과 사업가 김한정 씨에게도 무죄를 선고했습니다.

   Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon was acquitted in the second trial.

   The first trial’s fine of 10 million won, which would have invalidated his election under the Political Funds Act, has been overturned.

   The appellate court also acquitted former Seoul Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs Kang Cheol-won and businessman Kim Han-jeong, who were indicted alongside him.

2. 오세훈 서울시장이 정치자금법 위반 혐의 항소심에서 무죄를 선고받자 이른바 '오세훈 테마주'로 분류되는 종목들이 일제히 급등했습니다.

   After Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon was acquitted in the appeal trial on charges of violating the Political Funds Act, stocks classified as the so-called ‘Oh Se-hoon theme stocks’ surged simultaneously.

3. 인천 구월동의 대형 상가 건물에서 일면식 없는 시민 10명에게 흉기를 휘두른 최충락이 살인미수 혐의 등으로 공소청에 넘겨졌습니다.

   경찰은 최충락이 “누군가 그를 공격할지도 모른다.”는 망상에 빠져 범행을 계획했다고 판단했는데요.

   Choi Chung-rak, who wielded a weapon at 10 strangers in a large commercial building in Guwol-dong, Incheon, has been referred to the Public Prosecutors Office on charges including attempted murder.

   The police concluded that Choi Chung-rak planned the crime under the delusion that "Someone might attack him.“

4. 공명선거추진활동비(공추비)를 부활시킨 뒤 중앙선거관리위원회에 의해 중앙선관위원장과 비상임위원들에게 지급한 총 금액이 5억 원을 넘은 것으로 확인됐습니다.

   It has been confirmed that the total amount paid by the National Election Commission to the chairperson and non-standing members of the Central Election Commission after reviving the Fair Election Promotion Activity Expenses (PAE), exceeded 500 million won.

5. 오늘(23일) 상어 '부캉이'가 머무는 부산 북항 친수공원 인근 바다에서 기름 유출 사고가 발생했습니다.

   해경은 방제선 등을 투입해 방제작업에 나섰습니다.

   Today (the 23rd), an oil spill accident occurred in the sea near Busan North Port Waterfront Park, where the shark 'Bukang-i' is staying.

   The coast guard deployed patrol vessels and other resources to carry out cleanup operations.

6. 코스피가 미국 인공지능(AI)·반도체주 급락 여파에 장 초반 4% 넘게 밀렸지만, 장 마감 직전 상승 전환해 5,500선을 회복했습니다.

   The KOSPI fell more than 4% early in the session due to the plunge in U.S. artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor stocks, but reversed course to gain and recovered the 5,500 level just before the market closes.
