Sudjai Chaiyapan was born in Bangkok in 1969.
He graduated from Silapakorn University, Faculty of Painting,
Sculpture and Graphic art. His style is often surrealistic
and full or symbols. In his latest exhibition, his focus is on love
and relationships where bodies are surrounded by flowers,
such as roses and lotuses. His emotions and experiences
relating to his own relationships are depicted in a surrealist setting.
In addition to brush, he uses the edge of a cutter to produce
very fine lines which creates the unique style.
At other times, the artist's focus has been on environmental degradation
such as in a series from late 1990s.
In 1997 Sudjai won the ASEAN Art Awards in Thailand.
He has also won prizes from private corporations as well as
from the UN (Our World in the Year 2000 - The United Nations
Millennium Art Exhibition) for art work related to environmental awareness.
Sudjai has also participated in the Osaka Triennale in Japan in 1996.</font></p>

첫댓글 ~마음은 꽃이며 잠재의식은 나무 가지 ...잠재의식은 사계절의(감각) 변화를 육체에서 느끼듯이 모든걸 진행 시키며 ...영원히 그 끈을 놓지 않고...인간의 욕망은 예민한 더듬이를(잠재의식) 아름답게 승화 시켜보려 노력할 것이다 .......^^
~ 이 작품을 여러번 보고 또 보고....사실 작품이란 저 나름대로 보는것이라 이상하기도 하지요...작품을 보면서 많은 말을 합니다...혼자..ㅎㅎㅎ
