The Signs of the Second Coming and the End of the Age
Jesus’ second coming takes place when the promised prophecies are preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and through the second coming, he fulfills all the things that were prophesied. At this time, the ripened fruits of the seed sown at the time of the first coming are harvested, and [Jesus said] this time the of harvest is the time the world comes to an end.
The signs of this time (time of the second coming) are the events spoken of in the New Testament. In 2Thes 2, Paul said that Jesus’ second coming takes place after the work of betrayal and the work of destruction take place first.
One will know who these betrayers and destroyers are if he sees (reads) Rv 13, Mt 24, Mt 8:11-12, and Rv 6. The time of fulfillment is the time of Jesus’ second coming, and as these prophecies become actual entities and appear, [one] will see [these entities]. Those who saw this must flee to the mountain in order to live just as it was in the days of Lot. This is why [Jesus] said the work of salvation takes place after the work of betrayal and destruction.
The events of the Lord’s second coming are not general signs, but they are events of the time when the previous era passes away and a new era comes, that is, the era when the first heaven and first earth pass away, and the new heaven and new earth is re-created. This is the time when people are changed into new people. Those who believe in the prophecies will understand.
Since the recorded words of prophecies will all be fulfilled without adding to or subtracting from them, one has to know the promised words regarding what disappears and what is re-created and believe in them.
The seven messengers who betrayed in Rv 13 were those who cut the veins in their wrists, and made a covenant with God with that blood. They stored that blood in two IV bottles, and with that blood, they drew crosses on the certificates of appointment (on the back) of the saints. These [messengers] betrayed; everyone was deceived, and they all entered (became members of) the Presbyterian Church. They even received the mark of the beast on their foreheads and hands and worshiped the beast in accordance with Rv 13.
The reason the subjects of the kingdom are thrown out in Mt 8:11-12 is because their actions (betrayal) were the same actions of Rv 13. Then, since [there are those who] saw the one who deceived the subjects of the kingdom and the ones who destroyed them, [these people who saw] would know who the betrayers and destroyers are.
Both the betrayers and destroyers have the same Bible, and they must have seen it. However, they couldn’t believe in God’s promises and committed sin. The acts they committed testify against them, and thus, they cannot deny that they are the betrayers and the destroyers.
Then, who are the saviors who appeared after the events of betrayal and destruction? They are the ones who harvest (Mt 24:29-31) after these events (betrayal and destruction) and are the ones who are harvested—the family members of the 12 tribes. The ones who save, seal, and create are the promised new nation, the promised new people.
What does it mean to say the promised nation and the promised people? Because they are promised, they are referred to as the promised nation, the promised people. They are the actual entities of what was promised through the prophecies since approximately 2,000 years ago in the words of Jesus and in Revelation of the Bible. We did not say, “We are God's kingdom, the promised people,” without [there already being] a promise. This promised nation and people are the nation and people who have been promised from the Old Testament (Jer 31) to the time of Jesus’ first coming (the prophecies of the four gospels) and even after Jesus’ ascension, in Revelation.
They are born of the seed of God, harvested, sealed, created as the 12 tribes, and are the family members of God whose names are registered in the new heaven and new earth, Shincheonji. They are not sons (children) of mere men, but the sons of God, born again of the seed of the living God. They are the new family created according to Mt 13:36-38. If one compares Protestant church members with the members of Shincheonji, [their difference] is heaven and earth.
