<p>Oxford University Press has named the phrase brain rot as its word of the year.</p><p>It is defined as the supposed deterioration of a person's mentanl and intellectual state specailly from consuming too much low grade contents especailly on line.</p><p>Oxford press says the phrase chose by a combination of public vote and  language analysis gained new prominence in 2024 with a 230 % increased in usage since the previous year.</p><p>Oxford language's president Casper Grathwhol says that in its modern sense, brain rot feels likea rightful next chapter in the culture conversation about humanity and technology. </p><p>I'm Jeniffer King</p><p> </p>
