드래곤들이 발을 내디딜 때마다 땅속에서 쿰쿰한 포자 냄새가 피어올랐다.

머리 위에는 나무 대신 거대한 버섯 대들보가 하늘을 막고,

갓 끝은 푸른빛, 보랏빛, 붉은빛으로 희미하게 빛나며 숲을 별천지처럼 만들고 있었다.

레드 드래곤이 코끝을 찡그리며 말했다.

“젠장… 이 냄새. 숨만 쉬어도 머리가 어지럽다.”

블루 드래곤은 날개짓으로 바람을 일으켜 포자를 흩뜨렸다.

“조심해. 이건 단순한 버섯이 아니야. 살아있다.”

그 순간 땅이 갈라지며 거대한 균사 뿌리가 뻗어 나오더니,

형체를 갖춘 괴물들이 모습을 드러냈다.

적 등장

1. 버섯 맨 전사 

등껍질 같은 갓을 뒤집어쓴 인형체.

팔에는 곰팡이 창이 달려있고, 부러져도 금세 자라남.

2. 포자 마법사 

등 뒤에서 계속 포자 구름을 흘려내며 정신 교란 마법 시전.

블랙 드래곤이 “크윽… 눈이 흐려진다…” 하며 잠시 휘청인다.

3. 버섯 골렘

30미터는 족히 되는 거대 버섯과 흙, 뿌리가 합쳐진 괴물.

팔을 휘두르면 땅속 균사가 울려 충격파 발생.

4. 광휘 버섯짐승 

온몸에 발광 버섯이 자라난 네발짐승.

빛으로 적의 눈을 멀게 하고 이빨로 물어뜯음.

블랙 드래곤은 어둠 속성 애시드 브레스를 퍼부어 포자 구름을 태워 없애고,

레드는 바위와 불길을 모아 버섯 골렘의 다리를 으스러뜨렸다.

블루는 바람과 얼음을 섞어 포자 마법사들의 구름을 얼려 고립시켰다.

그러나 균사 숲은 살아있는 던전처럼 반응했다.

쓰러진 괴물들의 몸에서 새 버섯 줄기가 솟아나며 다시금 적이 늘어났다.

레드 드래곤이 으르렁이며 외친다.

“젠장… 끝도 없잖아! 뿌리를 태워야 해!”

블루가 날개를 펼쳐 하늘 위에서 빙결 폭풍을 준비하고,

블랙은 땅속 균사의 흐름을 느끼며 어둠의 염동으로 그것을 찢어내려 한다.
