Perhaps no surprise, California, which is the home to many tech corporations, asked the fewest questions.</p><p class="content-list-component text">Decluttr, a website that typically focuses on helping people resell unwanted electronics, <a href="http://www.decluttr.com/blog/2016/07/11/which-states-are-the-most-tech-savvy/" target="_blank" data-beacon='{"p":{"mnid":"entry_text","lnid":"citation","mpid":0}}'><font color="#2e7061">announced its findings in a blog post</font></a> on Monday.</p><p class="content-list-component text">The website compiled a list of over 700 technology-related questions and then determined which states asked the most of those questions by reviewing Google’s database of searches by location.</p><p class="content-list-component text">To get a rough estimate of the average number of questions asked per person, the website then divided each state’s population by the number of questions asked.</p><p class="content-list-component text">According to the website’s findings, Vermont, Wyoming, North Dakota, Alaska and South Dakota were among the top five states for most questions asked. Vermont, South Dakota and North Dakota are also among the <a href="http://priceonomics.com/the-most-urbanized-states-in-america/" target="_blank" data-beacon='{"p":{"mnid":"entry_text","lnid":"citation","mpid":1}}'><font color="#2e7061">top 10 states with the smallest percentage</font></a> of their population living in urban areas.</p><p class="content-list-component text">Residents in California, Texas, Florida, New York and Ohio, meanwhile, asked the fewest tech questions.
